So you turn on ignition hiss light still on? If on, means your hiss is not disabled, still can crank, just cannot start. You try and on off your engine afew times and try. Probably your key mapping went wrong, was your key duplicated?

Oh my bad. The HISS is off only the PGM-FI is on. But what if the HISS is still on and yes my key is duplicated. How to deal with this two situation?

Actually if your hiss is on and the key you using cannot deactivate hiss, then you try use the spare key. If still cannot means all your key cannot deactivate hiss, which means it might cost a lot

If the PGM-FI never switch off after ignition and HISS is off. Is there anything to do with fuel pump? The mechanic told me its the fuel pump.. Is it?

Finally, passed my 2A and collecting my new revo next week.

It's the soon to EOL current model, warranty by BS. Wanted to get the 2014 model but it's more expensive and without warranty.

I have been reading this thread and still a long way to finish and many to learn from everyone.

Planning to do the following and seek your advices.

1) Replace the stock Dunlop D204f tires with Bridgestone BT023. Shop suggest the Michelin Road 4 instead due to long lasting and grippy as well. Any comments on this?

2) Install a 1-way alarm and security bolts on the brake calipers and suspension. I doubt I can receive the alarm signal since my bike will be parked at the basement carpark, so a 1-way alarm is good enough to deter theft. I read that Scorpio i800 is recommended. Any other suggestion? How about suspension protection?

3) is there anything to protect the stock exhaust in case of drop? I saw there are certain stock exhausts that are fitted with a black ring on the exhaust circumference. These rings to protect the exhaust or serve other purposes?

Meanwhile, appreciate your advices and counting down to the collection day.

if the tyres are still new i dun see a point in changing. might as well use it until bald then change. can save you a few hundred dollars. if you feel the wet grip is not good just ride slower on wet surface. anyway since you will be running in your engine you wun be able to go too fast also.

no idea on alarm never had one before

the best protection for exhaust is a large top box haha. my bike had stationary fall on wet carpark floor before and the box + engine guard took all the damage. my exhaust didn't get scratch at all but if you are going to put one, remember to place it at the starting part of the can not the end part. when bike falls it's always the front part that get damaged.

Thanks for your advice. May ride out the stock tires during my running in and change thereafter.

I have a box too; will check the positioning of the box after I collect the bike sometime this coming week.

And I just learnt that the black colored ring on the exhaust is called the exhaust slider. Is it expensive?

check positioning of the box? im referring to the positioning of the exhaust guard.

exhaust slider actually is useless cauz it dosent protect the exhaust when it first touch the ground. it only protect it when your bike is already sliding hahaha

it supposed to be exhaust guard

Noted fast & responsive :)

I would choose CB400 Revo , cos inline 4 engine fast and responsive than parallel Twins.

Hi all, anyone knows where to purchase our oil filter wrench? Or anyone knows our diameter of the wrench? Thanks!

you can actually use a strap wrench and dun have to worry about the size.

https://www.google.com.sg/search?q=strap+wrench&espv=2&biw=1600&bih=775&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=laY4VMWZDteIuATB0YLACw&sqi=2&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ

also from what i know some oil filter has a socket at the end of the oil filter and you only need a spanner to tighten or unscrew it.
