HLB price RM24.00

 

nut type changed to allen key type - longer , bigger and stronger . Tightens from minor air leak.

 

Spark ignition coil bracket rusted. Welding coil bracket to body chassis. Repaint with 2 coat black paint.

 

Clean air filter

 

Valve intake & exhaust used gauge measurement clearance.

 

Add sarung / cover for seat .

Overhaul carburetor

 

Was

 

- Dirty , water inside and screw worn out and jam

 

- Pilot jet chocked

 

- Carb screw jam ; took to foundry to open

 

Checked fuel and air pipes - realign

 

Front brake lever switch spoilt. No rear brake light. Changed switch assy . Used genuine Suzuki made in Thailand.

 

Water run test on carburetor, spark coil and engine.

 

Changed spark plug cap genuine NGK - first time using

 

Total RM20

 

Started shell Ron97 v-power new petrol

Stopped esso opposite pelangi. No More Esso Ron 97

Currently me using front wheel Battlax tire - world superb tire for cub kias

since i am in budget now, i think try change to Maxxis

Air screw 1.5 turning

Petrol screw 1200rpm

 

changed 4 yellow signal bulb each RM1.50.....first time changing since bought bike in Dec 2004

 

washed rear light lens

 

===========è confirmed deep inside gearbox a particular part is causing roaring noise.

Ah Tek said do not disturb, just leave it since only during overhaul can repair.

3. cleaned battery box. did rewiring - replacing clips connector on battey. cleaned all rusts and deoxidaised area. Greased.

 

4. valve tappet adjustment

 

5. retune timing.

This tyre seriously I DON"T recommend. Not good grip on dry road and also slippery on wet road. You can feel the handle bar front shaking due to bad grip.

 

once botak I will change to Duro racing.

2.Changed DOT 4 Shell brake fluid

 

3.put new chain box cap which lost. Genuine Yamaha made in Thailand

 

4.spray chain lube HOLTS non-fling

 

5.serviced horn

 

6.serviced LHS switch inside thoroughly. Dismantle and greased

 

7.front headlight cowling vibration – put double side tape

 

Service charge RM 5

 

Checked chain drive set. Now running 20,001km. Giving sound when open throttle at gear 1. ‘Clung’ sound. Will change drive chain set once 28,000km or 30,000km

It's waterproof and also UV resistance. Good for bikes lying under sun at hdb.

I saw in this mechanic shop in skudai, JB - the owner put recycle bins. It was full with items to recycle. It seems bike shops has many things to recycle. So lovely shop in skudai.

Very good move to save earth. Wish to see these bins everywhere in world provided people are educated to use them.
