went to JB today.. changed 2 O rings ..tighten whatever loosen FOC .. 3 rear bearings... G power plug... wash carb.. change rear rim hub rubbers... check filter FOC and any leakage around also FOC.. = RM69/- ... quoted these in SG was coming $100/- .. wat an Earth and Heaven!!!

the one u lead the way..beside got money changer........ before BHP petrol kiosk after right turn passing first shell petrol kiosk....... btw..i asked them why when i crank my bike or sometime switch off the engine got a GRANK GRANK GRUNK sound..very pissing off..they said its the bearing inside..change will req around RM140 est.. both bearing inside have to change...

 

also asking them for a 2nd hand pillion bar for my bike ..as i dont have any when comes to me... they will go searching..next trip is to settle that noisy sound and EO change.....very pek cek ....

The one I use as used by episode9 is nearest to causeway

I only allow the indian guy there to touch my bike

normally small things to change like tyres I go here when I am lazy to travel to Kangkar Tebrau or Skudai or before Larkin

 

But for all my works on my bike which u can see multitude photos in previous pages

all done in skudai under yamaha specialist

 

so episode9 I know the sound grunk grunk when u switch off the ignition

 

better bring to skudai yamaha

 

or u follow f/x

he going there to skudai

u follow him

scare timing and day cannot meet...thats the main issue.. more ever ..not only when switch off got that sound..sometime when CRANK START also got that sound...sometimes only...

my timing also strange one, if go shop need to do daytime right..

i normally ride out quite late.. sneak out quietly after 10-11pm.. living life after the midnight hours.. ;=p

oh..but mine have to do early morning weekdays..cos evening have to take care family esp my daughter.... .. so this coming friday will be heading to the same old place... hope they can give me a better answer about that sound again~

weekdays early is best.. was stuck in 2hrs+ jam on saturday

so the shop you went is located nearest to the checkpoint side?

i past by bhp yesterday, got a few other shops further down along that road..

who got recce nearby there before? got shop displaying some coversets outside..any comments?

ya..weekdays best... i went is the one just after the right turn before BHP petrol kiosk..next to a money changer.. the rest never actually know much.. This trip is to change the ONE WAY BEARING..and maybe my tire if i got spare cash..also ask them to do some setting as i am assuming the bike is running too rich or maybe carb having problems~

2. serviced horn switch

3. serviced double stand shaft

4. changed brake switch assist - used genuine SUZUKI cause it is better then yamaha

 

re-paint exhaust with samurai high temperature

bleed and flushed front disc brake DOT 4

 

wash bike RM7

polish with soft 99

vinyl OWS gel

Checked for any water inside carburator by draining the outlet pipe

Checked with gauge for intake and exhaust valve tappet clearance

1. changed engine oil Shell R3 Rimula X 15w-40

2. serviced suspension , muffler & swingarm with Penzoil lubricant

3. chain drive tighten

4. checked electricity - OK

5. checked plug coil and water in carb

6. tighten GIVI box bracket

7. brake shoe/pad front/ rear and spray dust free , lubricate mechanicsms

 

Lab. charge RM 3

Engine oil RM 14.90

foot peg rubber synthetic type made in Msia
