hey guys need some help here... for my spark z 110 issit possible for me to fix up front rim=1.85 tyre=80/90or 80/80 rear rim=2.15 tyre 90/80??? im currently using those rd sports rim 1.4(front 80/80) 1.6(rear 80/90) i can reach 110kmh... so if i change to spooky rims can i still maintain 110kmh????... will it be more heavy?? and wats the best for conering?? sport rim or spookey..... thanks guys

Went JB again for bike polish and makan dinner at 11pm

 

Jam queue from 11:30pm till 12:45am

 

Makan nasi serai with sotong, small rice type called serai , ayam penyek, nenas and kuah kambing = RM8

Guys, u must try these item although it's a small portion...

 

 

Bike wash = RM6

Bike polish = RM10

 

Supplied my own polish - POLYGLAZE

 

Gave the Mr.polisher RM4 tips and Mr.washer RM2

 

Did excellent job ....satisfied ....return 3am

7. your heart beat

 

If your bike and yourself satisfies the above 7 criterias then your can corner at high speed.

 

The most No.1 important is TYRE

 

Do not have GIVI / Kappa boz at rear.

 

Spookey or sport rim doesn't matter.

Spookey is lighter then sport rim but it still depends on material and manufacturer , sometimes sport rim lighter then spookey.

 

Try to read more on Michelin Pilot Sporty and the design or other tyre brand design on which is best for cornering. Then you will know the right tyre to choose.

 

You can fix front and rear bigger RIM but what is the point when the TYRE IS more important. Stick with the current RIm and use low profile and racing type tyres.

So it all come down to the tyres eh... i think im getting bridgestone battlex i heard its best for cornering, and spookey setup cause im heavy load!!!.. hahaha.. i do have givi box fixed up at my bike no choice lah bro... i just wana try how low i can go on my lagenda.....

All malaysian bike shops are expert in all japanese and malaysian BRAND bikes.

 

The bike shop I go ...look for Ah Sui. He is very fast and very loyal and never cheat.

Thumb rule: Buy two cans of 100 Plus cold for Ah Sui and his 2 assistants.

They will be super happyyyyyyy to do anything for you.

 

The bike shop boss sits in a wheelchair and charges very fair doesn't matter even if you are singapore registered plate.

 

Another good thing is ===> you can bring in your own parts .....just ask them to fix and give RM5 - Rm20 labour charge will do.

I use yamaha lagenda 110cc but thailand made and called spark Z

 

i have givi box

 

i use both front and rear michelin pilot sporty for 3 years..... i can corner as i like....no problem with givi box but cannot take those long curve ...becasue wind will blow the box ..... but still with Michelin I survived.

 

I salute MIchelin.

 

Michelin pilot vs bridgestone battlex

 

Michelin IS THE BEST but heavier then bridgestone but cheaper by $20.

 

Now i use MAxxis tyre...superb good and light. I don't go for cornering but care for long mileage.

 

My Michelin only last 10 months.

good tips for everyone.....after installing new tyre

 

my rear tyre is new and for 200km i feel the bike is not stable and wobbling at the back end.

 

i send to my mechanic

 

tested

 

sport rim - pass

suspension shock - pass

swingarm - pass

chain drive - pass

 

then he spin the rear wheel while on gear 1 .

 

The tyre is not straight. Then he release the air. Make it zero air .

Then refill with new air.

 

Later i went to test and went home. The next day i went again to release air and refill again. Now the bike is back to normal stable condition.

 

This shows that the tyre tubeless was not aligned properly with the air.

brand new engine , can use denso iridium spark plug

plug will not spoilt any engine whether new stock or overhauled or old engine

washed and put KIT ultra UV protection for black items and seat on bike .

I was reading the yamaha manual .

 

SAw the maximum allowed engine oil in crankcase is 2000km only ;no matter high or low quality engine oil used.

 

in my humble opinion for Yamaha motorcyle, we need to take care of the crankshaft bearing which fails and gives loud noise after 40,000km

 

so just use shell 4T oil and change at 1500km

 

when i change oil at 1300km , i notice the oil becomes so dark balck

 

i believe this is caused by the environment pollution and also i ride at constant 120km/h on expressway

finally conclusion made

the foreman said i can ride the bike at top speed and no need to repair but i must bear the noise .

 

Now i decide to save some money to repair

he said yamaha bikes always fail in cranskshaft bearing and overhead cam

 

foreman said not serious and not danger but but but bear with the loud noise

that's all

 

it's good to repair so that it never effect other parts

 

some componenets can effect other parts .

it is like disease spreading

 

anyway, for the entire 2 hours troubleshooting he never charge me

Last week, first time in history my bike after wash cannot start

then i have to push to bike shop

after 1km push bike

then 2 malay boys came with RXZ

they offered to push my bike

pushed for another 1km till reach bike shop

used blower to blow water trapped in between coil and spark plug

then bike can start

this is Malaysia

what a unity among race
