thanx for the company guys....it was a nice fun sunday we had.....next time we can start from hortpark and continuue the rest of the walk...haha...ill postup the pics either on wed or thurs after ive edit them.... =)

Had a great time yesterday. It was a shoot out with tag teams of Nikon D200 & D60 VS Canon 300D & 1000D.. Too bad I din bring my 350D.. confirm Nikon will have to yield.. heh heh..

Anyway thanks for the orguinizer for this activity. Never knew I could climb up to Mount faber on foot before.. And taking public transport with your friends is even more fun than travelling by yourself! Hahaha...

 

Even though today is the usual Monday blues, even with jelly legs I am able to make it to work.. Cos yesterday all the stress already burnt away by the fun and laughter..

 

I think with the growing number of interest in photography, I motion we go somewhere together for a photo-shootout.. Any ideas anyone?

Yeah indeed, what a fun and sweaty workout on a sunday morning instead of the usual late morning wakeup and rolling around on the bed :lol:

 

Thanks to spy for being the orgui tao for this outing.

 

1st time taking the public without the usual crowds squeezing and pushing, not forgetting the karate kid we saw at the train station. hahaha!! :D

 

Some poisonous toys mag had over there.. are we going to see the 'buy buy buy' symptoms coming out again? Orgui tao, mai tu liao! Buy now talk later! muhaha..

 

Its been a more than a year since i go out shooting liao, its nice to know that my gears are still in workable conditions. Thanks manzz for helping me to bring the spare batt, thou i am surprise that my batts could last me the whole of yesterday.

 

This morning over breakfast, I was thinking about the same thing too. With the current numbers of shutterbugs, it would be fun to do a monthly shootout with a different theme every month. :thumb:

Seats are available on the bridge itself. With the interesting curves, it felt as if you are being engulfed by the waves.

Thanks to you Bro it's a nice cooling morning with fresh air. In fact we enjoy taking the public toge having breakfast toge and start off trekking and shooting the scenery. Haha but i can see when we reach hort park most of us were hungry. Let's conqure another natural reserve next time or mayb cont wif what we havent finish. Thanks again Spykie :thumb:

Thanks Bro there are more nice pics taken by the rest esp wif the nice scenery at eh Bridges. Ya you should have brought ur cam along make what u spent on the cam worth it that is to capture nice pics. So the next outing die die mus bring :)

 

THink its a great idea to go for an outing as well as shoot out. :bounce: maybe we can go to places like Sultan road where the shop houses areas are wif the old mosque or the temple at China town. We can try clarke quay too. punggol has quite some nice things to shoot as well. Infact that day when we are at vivo city the top level there is a nice place to shoot. Botanic garden, sungei buloh, East coast, Changi AP, fort canning, some heritage walks. Jus some ideas.

 

I think next time we can share more on our next shoot out. I have a simple print out from a friend of some info on what is exposure, aperture, shuttle, color temperature which is white bal, ISO, wide angle, telephoto, depth of field, composition and so on. It is a gd handout for us to keep and read as this are the basic elements needed if we are using manual capabilities camera. I print it out for u guys for the next shootout. It is always good to go back to our own basic :)

Haha I think the poisonous gas from the lens leaked out. Wah dun waste that nice camera u have. Shoot it whenever we can. There might still be a new shutterbug coming waiting for him only like no news from him since he posted his interest leh :p
