First attraction I bumped into was the Berjaya Hills Golf & Country Club. Rooms are on promotional rate RM$110 per nite.

Greens are well-maintained.

Afar off - you can see the Berjaya Hill Villas. The thing about Berjaya Hills is many of their houses, hotels and building are European design.

Next, off to search for Rabbit (and donkey) farm and Colmar Tropicale - where main attractions are:

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e297/chaoSq2/Recce%20Trip%20-%20Bt%20Tinggi/DSC00515.jpg

When I got to the Rabbit Farm, entrance was RM$3. Feeling the heat (told ya its not as cool as Frasers), I decided to spend the cash on Corneto - worse - its RM$5! I could have a Kampong Nasi Ayam with that price. Anyway - things up at Berjaya Hills are more pricey.

Managed to take a pic of the donkeys esp for our ESR Shrek!

Disappointment no.2:

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e297/chaoSq2/Recce%20Trip%20-%20Bt%20Tinggi/DSC00523.jpg

Since its a recce, I would not bother to pay entrance fee (what's with M'sia and entrance fee? Kota Tinggi also have!)

So, as consolation - just take a pic of the roof of those European-designed structures - reminds me of logo of Walt Disney's!

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e297/chaoSq2/Recce%20Trip%20-%20Bt%20Tinggi/DSC00521.jpg

Another shot of those villas. It'll probably be nicer to stay if it is cooler:

Horse Riding - I think this one will be better than Frasers Hill coz you can take the horse out to trot on roads.

Dangerous part of the trip:

There are humps at the top of the hill, esp where the attractions are. It is quite high actually. Other hazardous road condition includes pot-holes, sand and horse-**** (I'm not kidding, coz of the horse trail).

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e297/chaoSq2/Recce%20Trip%20-%20Bt%20Tinggi/DSC00537.jpg

This is the deadliest hump coz it is "invisible"! When I first reached the top, I've to jam my brakes, but I was too late and my bike took quite a shock.

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e297/chaoSq2/Recce%20Trip%20-%20Bt%20Tinggi/DSC00538.jpg

My first real food of the day (even until writing this post!):

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e297/chaoSq2/Recce%20Trip%20-%20Bt%20Tinggi/DSC00539.jpg

At the price of three Conertos, I can get these juicy MacSpicy Chicken Doubles. It is tasty!

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e297/chaoSq2/Recce%20Trip%20-%20Bt%20Tinggi/DSC00541.jpg

The Bentong R&R has a big complex of hawker food + MacDonald's. Ample carpark.

While there may be more things to see and do at Berjaya Hills than Frasers, the climate was not to expectation. Attractions and food there are premium price. The only hawker food is down the hill where there's a small town with many seafood kpt.

In my own opinion, Berjaya Hills is good for lazy one-day trip or a "passing-thru". You can spend a day there to cover all attractions and go back by evening.

Data:

Bike used: 1000cc Sports Tourer, 1UP, no luggage.

Weather: Fine (hot), but on the way back there was storm after Machap.

Traffic volume: Light in Sunday morning; moderate in afternoon.

~ GP to Seremban R&R - 277KM - avg 160-170KPH - 19.4L Ron95 (1000cc sports tourer)

~ Seremban R&R to Berjaya Hills - 204KM - avg 90-140KPH - 12L Ron95 (including holanding to Rawang and riding around for Berjaya Hill attractions).

~ Bentong R&R to Ayer Keroh R&R - 148KM - avg 150KPH - 8.6L Ron 95

~ AYK R&R to GP south R&R - 216KM - 190KPH on dry & 130KPH in rain - 15L Ron 95.

~ Pics taken by W995 Handphone cam with shakey hands from prolong riding!

~ The return trip, I took another route by accident. At Karak tail-end, there's a split, but I can't tell where's E6. coz the signboard never state. Just stated as "K.L." "Seremban". However, I remembered passing by Zoo Negara. Later, I hit E5 route which connects back to NSH E1 route. This way back is not recommended although it is shorter. Reason was the traffic is pretty heavy.

(upon checking internet, the route was actually "Jalan Linkaran Tengah 2"... whatever - this traffic ain't smooth and lanes are narrow.

~ On the way back after 2nd toll towards GP, another road-tax collecting kiosk. But, thanks the the kind fellas on opp direction of NSH who flashes headlights as warning. These guys Si-bei-on, drizzling also wanna check.

Thanks... Am making a point to go each weekend.

Today (Sun, 23 May 2010), I shot up to Malacca town. I was supposed to take coastal road, Route 5, but before I could get out of Galang Patah, I found myself heading towards Skudai! I must have made a wrong turn somewhere in those trunk roads.

Back to NSH, I shot up at 160KPH to Malacca town. Fuel economy - 16.9KM/L.

Along the way, met a large group of bikers, mainly BMW and Honda. There was also a M'sia Lambo who was really fast, but not faster than the Busa! Hiak Hiak Hiak!!

Had myself 2 bowls of Jonker88 chendol - slurrrp!

Then I walked along the bridge towards Pulau Malaka, but the bridge came to a dead end. Took a pic of the tiny island:

http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e297/chaoSq2/Trip%20-%20Malacca%20Loop%20Seremban%202010%2005%2023/DSC00549.jpg

Exiting Bandar Malaka, I headed straight to Seremban, made a loop and return from NSH towards GP south. I intended to refuel at Machap, but I decided to stretch towards that Shell Kiosk near Kulai exit.

To my horror, there was no petrol kiosk after Machap! And I was already on reserve from Ayer Hitam! So from 160KPH drop to 130KPH. By the time I was at E3 (that 46KM stretch back to 2nd Link), I was going at 60KPH. Waaah... malu man!

I made it to GP South kiosk with 1 litre of petrol left. Should have gone at 90KPH!!

Total cost of today's trip: S$47 (S$42 petrol + S$3 chendol + S$2 drinks)
