Thanks for the encouragement bro johjoh. :)

The last time I took 5.02, the instructor said after 1 month if still haven't gotten RTT, need take RC and tell them is retake for PDL. 5.02 after passed one time, should be gone from the booking already if I'm not wrong.

Go for the Riding theory practices, the questions are almost exactly the same!

But pandy's 5.02 was on 19th, and RTT is on 14th, less than one month so what's the worry? :?

RTE and RTT questions comes from RTP.

Take two RTP before RTT and 95% chance you won't fail. The books are useless for the RTT IMO. :p

I read the red book about 5.02

they show you the circuit, and when to signal all, cancel signal.. see till blur..

how do ppl rmb?

To ride on the road, You need skills,Stamina, or even luck.

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment, and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

Cultivate the confidence to face the different situations. Don't let yourself to be subdued by the environment :thumb:

Hmmm I think after 2.2 you should know when to signal and all .

Before you make a turn or lane change , signal .

After completing the turn or lane change , cancle your signal . Don't delay for too long or they will penalize you ( Fail to cancel signal - 4 points ) .

Rule or thumb...Before you decide to do anything, automatically must check mirror/blindspot! e.g. lane change, move off from stopping.

The book is just a guideline...when you gone enough times on the test road, you will remember eventually. I remember the first few times I gone the test route, halfway through a car cut in infront of me and seperated me and another rider behind me from the group infront. I was totally lost on where to proceed. Luckily the guy beind me remember and keep direct me the correct route to go. When I almost turn at wrong junction he shout at me. haha :cheeky:

when i will doing 5.02, the instructor told the group not to use the red book.

instead he recommend the 2 green board with the BBDC circuit near the raincoats. after the 5.02 session, the green board with the circuit was used to brief the group.

If really cannot change then too bad...nothing can be done about it. A few things I'm worried during TP is faulty bike, bad traffic pattern and bad weather. Took 3 times TP for class 3...now a bit paranoid for TP already. :(

I also took tp 3 times and going 4th next 6th of the month lol.. damn irritating coz i always cannot sleep the night before..

the red book is slightly different from the green circuit briefing board.

Every RC the instructor will take you one time test route... if you think the 2B route is long, the 2A/2 route is even longer... At first I was wondering how to remember, but after a few times can liao :thumb:

Don't go wrong route! Immediate fail!

Just remember before any turning need to signal, after turning cancel signal, etc etc.

The one that gets many people is the signal change from right to left halfway thru crank course and down the slope.

yeah 2A/2 route damn long. maybe since 2A/2 no road training so they make the test route very long. luckily during my 3.01 my instructor brought me 6 rounds around test route since only got 2 person taking the lesson. if not sure go wrong route. for my 2B almost everytime i forget to change signal when going down slope. luckily 2A no need to change signal.

Haha...for me the first 2 times I don't know why mount kerb at the course that need to move in, reverse into slot, then left turn out. Never had any problem with that course during learning, so when met with problem I don't know what to do. First 2 times the TP smile smile at me then give me fail. The 3rd time I took the TP keep scold me throughout the test, but passed me. The TP smiles have swords hidden behind. o_O

Class 3? My TP was very quiet throughout... except one part where I was following a L plate along Bukit Batok Rd at 40km/h... then he say... "going to get license already still follow so slowly? overtake la"... and got "Failure to overtake when necessary" for that... :sian:

But, he ended up cutting short the test route, then I knew ho sey liao

Listen to the instructor.

Grip the tank with your thighs when you are on the plank. Use your rear brake only and make sure throttle is on. Slow down with your rear brake if you are moving too fast. Keep thighs tight to keep balance.

Should be able to clear 6-7 sec easily.

Well...congrats! :thumb:

I guess the instructor already said whatever he wanted to say to you during the pract, so there's no need to say anything anymore. :p

As for 3.01...most important point is to look far ahead so that you can balance better. You can read up on the red book for tips on narrow plank, but not for the pylon. The book teach pylon differently than what the instructors will tell you to do. :sian:

for me taking all my bike license,i always use the same technique.accelerate when its ur turn, then once mount the plank grip the tank, look far to the pylon in front of u to centralise ur bike.then play with ur biting point and maintain abit of throttle while pressing the rear brake but make sure u dn brake too much till u lose speed then fall off the plank.these shld enable u lets say 12sec at least.tats how i learn somehow for my 2b,2a and 2
