guys.. esp ah pek.. ytd i went to a car polishing shop at ubi.. they managed to remove my " stain " 80 % for me..

 

they used their special liquid.. and they rubbbed only for les than a minute.. i believe if given the patience, it would be 100 % removed !

im confident abt that !

That they used is call "rubbing compound"..comes in liquid or paste form...usually used for removing laquer or paint oxidation..careful though as they got different grade. As I mentioned earlier, it easily available out. After that, you have to 'polish' with wax.

Elaborate?..don't know how leh..but one can cost more than SC1 (Maxima Silicone Spray) at $19.00 Vs $17.50. Talk about "New bike in a can"...any cheapo silicone spray at $6.50 hardware shop oso give your bike that new look lah. Its a green can call "ThunderShield" Silicone Waterproofing..odorless and colourless. Less sticky and dry fast! It's great for 'refreshing' wrn out rain coat waterproofing.

 

Maxima Chain Lube?...aiyah..go try "Rock Oil" Chain lube lah..better than you Mama_Maxi one. Really clear and lube_de_lube without mild flinging off like Maximama! They stopped import for nearly 1 and half years. 1st Motor was the distributor then I think and now don't know who and is available now. There is a shop just before Aunty at Lavender but now cost $15.00..use to be $10. I don't use now lah because got free one..use "used motoroil"..free forever and chain still get lubed..pay so much for what..wheel and chain still get dirty...LOL!

item was bought about 2 months ago and sent for workshop respray to white.

confirm good quality respray.

after installing to my Dad's Version S, he says he still prefer the bike without the windshield.

 

looking at $120 non nego.

Hi.. Got it at ah boy.. Tink ard 30 plus a pair.. But I recommend u to buy a better one at motorworld.. Mine the screws get rusty and I have to autosol it frequently..

My bike is 3 years old now and i notice it is less responsive and smooth compare to the past even though i just changed my engine oil few weeks back.

 

I have seem a lot of good comment on grounding and power abuser that will help to improve the response and smoothless of the bike when riding.

 

Just wondering did any of you actually have it installed on your bike and how it feel?

It's a Fuel reformulator made from plant quintessence (an unique formula of natural vegetable Esters) and when mixed with fuel, it immediately changes normal fuel and make it more efficient for optimal performance.

 

Selling everywhere now but careful of fakes..prices elsewhere at $6 per bottle while mine is only $5. One 60ml bottletreates up to three S4 full tank of fuel (10ml to 10 litres) and the longer you use, the better the result like improve power and performance, mileage, torque, increase engine life, better fc..etc.

 

The above is only one factor that makes your ride better, other are other strong recommendation that is a MUST HAVE like CLS Bonding and X-1R (plse go to non Vtec thread and check post under Ah Pek).

 

Rest else..its all electrical improvement like grounding and EPS charge booster. It all adds up to a 'new bkie' performance and reliability.

hi all.

i've upgraded my 1 way alarm system to SPY 2 way alarm system and hence selling my 1 way alarm.

Brand is Frontier.

Bought since 28/02/2006.

Auto start function is applicable to all CB400 before FR7XXX plates and all non VTECs.

Used to have 2 remote but one spoilt and left one only.

I've dumped the spoilt remote.

It also have a voice speaker but i removed and dump it away due to find it a bit annoying...

 

Mine looks like the Spy 1 way alarm... i left with the black remote only.

There is something stuck to my header (spec III), either melted foam or melted plastic bag. How do i remove it DIY. I may have to remove the header to throughly remove it and probably also respray the header. Do i need any special tools to remove the header? Can it be DIY? Can DIY be done in 1 full day like saturday or sunday (including respray of header)? I just realise this problem. I dont have any pictures of it yet.

 

Ah Pek gave some good advise to remove it with help of blow torch, but unfortunately i do not have a portable blow torch and i am afraid I might just burn parts off my bike with that kind of heat. Might you be able to help?
