Hi Thomas,

There is something stuck to my header (spec III), either melted foam or melted plastic bag. How do i remove it DIY. I may have to remove the header to throughly remove it and probably also respray the header. Do i need any special tools to remove the header? Can it be DIY? Can DIY be done in 1 full day like saturday or sunday (including respray of header)? I just realise this problem. I dont have any pictures of it yet.

Ah Pek gave some good advise to remove it with help of blow torch, but unfortunately i do not have a portable blow torch and i am afraid I might just burn parts off my bike with that kind of heat. Might you be able to help?

its best to remove ur headers when the engine is cool.

u'll need to sand paper the whole header before respray.

dry weather recommended.

no need special tool.

jus wrench and socket set will do.

overall will take abt 3 hours including allowing it to dry...

by right, u need a torque wrench but by left no need.

sand paper wat grit i not sure but u need a rough and a fine piece.

rough for removing the stuck particles and fine for spraying.

go hunt for high temp spray at hardware stores.

there is no yes or no to remove the end can. its up to you.

but better to remove for more convenience.

Was wondering anyone use HID permanently on sg roads? Is TP very strict with HID?

I believe yes they are strict about it.

How time flies...

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.
