Bike wash aka grooming session

I will be washing my 2 bikes... :giddy:

Day : Saturday

Date : 27th March 2010

Time : 1400hrs to 1800hrs

Location : HDB Ang Mo Kio (MSCP), Blk 712A Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6

 

Map here

 

Items to bring...

- some 20cents coins

- cloth, rags

- car wash shampoo

Planning for Genting/Malacca 2day 1night trip... 2nd to 3rd April(400cc and above bikes only...) :)

 

What i have in mind...

 

2nd April...

5.00am - Gather @ AMK Shell station for final checks on bike and rider.

5.15am - Breakfast @ AMK Garden Mac

6.00am - Set off for Tuas 2nd Link

6.45am - Arrive GP Esso.

7.30am - Set off for Genting. (Expected to arrive @ Genting @ 12noon.

(Guys, from GP Esso to Genting, there will be multiple stops for petrol, rest, smoke, toilet and bike checks.)

12.00pm - Arrival @ Genting (We'll spend 2 hours to chat and relac)

2.00pm - RTU and check in hotel @ KL. Followed by night activities eg; dinner, minor shopping. Then rest till morning

 

3rd April...

9.00am - Breakfast in KL.

12.00pm - Check out and final checks of bike before set off.

12.30pm - Set off for Malacca.

2.30pm - Arrival @ Malacca.

(Lunch and ride around Malacca with Go-Karting if time permits...)

6.00pm - Set off to JB.

8.00pm - Arrival @ JB area for dinner, wash bike, petrol, ciggy...

 

Everyone should be home by 12am... It's gonna be a tiring but fun trip i guess.

The above is just a forecasted timing and plan for the 2 days 1 night trip.

 

for hotel wise, i'll see how it goes, either 1 or 2 rooms and we share...

maybe gals 1 room and guys 1 room or if there is no gals then we all share 1 room.

gotta see how is this friday night headcount. :)

 

Those who are keen to come along, pls sms me @ 96911787.

 

Closing date for your confirmation of coming for this trip is this Friday 26th March midnight!

Upon confirming, Saturday 27th March, evening i will have a pre-trip gathering for those who are going...

 

Currently i have 3 riders already confirmed to go...

wah bro..i think i saw u yest riding in the 712A carpark..i was selling my pipe to one of the forumers here..then saw ur bike comin in..if its really u..im sure u saw 3 s4 bikes and 5 of us there wen u ride in..u washin bike today ah? arghhh..later ard 3pm im goin down to stick my stickers on my box..ive added some..but still wanna add more stickers to it..my bike just beside ur carpark..700. heee..

Guys and gals, i've receive a call from a fren last friday saying that his bike cant start. upon checking on his bike when i was at the open carpark, i saw the supply cable being cut and twisted together... seems that the thief wanted to try to crank the bike by by passing the ignition switch...

 

here, i advice all S4 owners to install an alarm system to your bike... thou singapore is a safe city, open carparks such things can happen too!

 

never take chances...

that's true folks. however safe SG may be, you'll never know what some buggers are doing to your bike in the wee hours of the night. dun let ppl's comment like " super 4 put what alarm?" prevent u from installing an alarm. It reduced my loss from losing my whole end can to just two springs(attaching the end can to mid pipe). Saw the two buggers running off while my alarm happily rang away..

Your friend's S4 a Spec2 and above? Which part of Singapore is this? Best to report police and at least they can do more patrolling. o_O

How time flies...

 

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.

it's a Version S which makes it even more easier to try luck... never the less... police patrolling are pratically useless as thiefs also do their 'patrolling' before they get into action... get wat i mean? o_O

 

So, end of the day, safe guard ur bike, install an alarm... :mad:

alternate choice is to go for 2nd stock disc.
