I saw my own too, is your dent near where the pilliion foot peg is? because my pillion foot peg or the suspension area has a dent too factory made so endcan will flush and not be hit by the shocks..

 

no no. i went back to unique n the mech tell me its done either by ppl give a hard kick to my exhaust or hit till. damn sad. its near the bracket. now the mech saw away that part which will cause a dent. wondered y didnt they do that in the first place or put a smaller n shorter bracket. if so now my pipe wun have the dent alr. haish.

Hi guy here's the breakup of the things I did at Sin Boon today.

 

spark plug 6

throttle cable 16

side mirror 15

brake pad front 20

brake pad back 18

givi grips 15

Dunlop TT900 tyres front (70/80) 55

Dunlop TT 900 tyres back (80/90) 55

engine oil 12

DID spocket & chain 45

Total 257

 

Total I paid was $267 , but dont know where the extra 10 bucks came from. Maybe I underquoted for some items. How guys, did I kena carrot?

 

u dnt want to try maxxis m6002 tyre ? that tyre pretty good and long lasting.

how much it cost maxxis m6002 tyre in SG ? in JB for 70/90 it cost RM85 and 80/90 cost RM90.wall on maxxis tyre also nice,not too high even it 70/90 or 80/90 or in other word it has low profile tyre and nice width (even 70/90) make more stable.

 

and about absorber,u dnt want to try yss top-up ? i think it is more good and stable than makida,furthermore it is long lasting too.it has good rebounce,not too soft and not too hard.suitable for daily riding.good when take corner.and it cost RM95-110 at JB.

The digital meter for Wave S cannot be reset after reaching 99999.9km, u need to change the whole meter which cost less than $100 if u buy at LAB.

LAB = Lim Ah Boy. Yes, it's located at Kelantan Lane. Ah Boy can be easily recognized, u just walk into his shop and look for the one with the most sexy voice.

Okay, thanks for the info! Where's the sparks plug located @ for wave? Wave has sprocket too right?

 

Front right behing wheel fender, you see a spark plug cable connected to it. Most bikes are driven by belt or sprocket and chain, the minority being shaft.

Hmmm tune for pickup, maybe i will do it haha. But if you change this, it will eat more fuel right? Hmm how come ? Because of the cc difference? I never noticed what bike, maybe it's yamaha ones..

 

Nt necessary, depends on yr riding style and power:weight. Cc diff will show in top end power if both built similarly. Needless to say their gears and g ratios beats the wave already

My bike is 8 years old. The mileage says 99999999999999999999999999km.. Can it be reset?

 

I am looking for the speedo meter transparent cover for my waveS too, wonder if anybody has an unwanted one to giveaway x)

I think can't reset or not worth it ba, LAB selling meter at 100. I went to ask for the cover they said no stock. wanted to buy full set of covers also don't have lack the headlight cover.

IMO I think its just a shorter throttle cable so you open the same dist you'll intake more petrol hence you feel it as fast/racing throttle. Good mod if you got good control

Hmm? I dunno anything, don't say that just talking nonsense hahah.. have no idea about it cuz I always go to JB for small bikes..this bike of mine never entered Sg workshop before. Only reached doorstep of Planet. Still looking for my replacement fairing for the whole bike, speedo cover and flexible rider footpeg man :/ If not maybe have to get racing footpeg but the rear brakes being affected holds me back, anybody with racing footrest, any comments?

Totally new one ? LOL wa i go workshop ask, new one full set 200 + lol. Stock exhaust ? But don't sound like stock one, abit smaller than normal..
