timing chain itself is cheap(s$13 only), opening up an engine to fix those parts is expensive. i did mine for s$100. excluding parts.pheww!! now my engine is good as new.

 

Hahaha so cheap ? where you repair ? I went to one shop, they quote me 200 + I was like wa so expensive, better go jb do sua. Mine not chain ): i wish was the chain :/ I heard from ppl don't repair also nvm one right ? Does it have any effects or what ?

Hmmm i heard there's a place where they sell original spare parts for wave and the price is quite cheap.. Anyone knows of the place? I not sure if i remember correctly.. It's ah leong issit ?

Maybe u need to ask the timing a little higher.

i just increase my idling speed and till now i havent experience any bike stalling incident YET.

Oh ya guys, i need advice on another thing. Will it be any much difference for a wave to fix on fast throttle? Because from what i heard, you currently already can full throttle max that's why no point fixing on a fast throttle. It's actually for those that can't reach to their full throttle ? Thanks in advance! =)

is your bike still displaying p-plate? if yes, i suspect the shop you went to wants to play drama. do you know that overhauling engine can be done at s$380 minimum, with

silent chain, conrod bearing, engine gasket, clean block abit, clutch plate change, piston set changed for that amount?

you want to be fast?. change to a sportbike. maybe r1 perhaps.

i think Musha wants u adjust the idling setting abit higher to prevent stalling.

Wont hurt much if u pump at jb.. 10L tank can wack pie all e way..
