Left to relocate signals, new brake lights (Nomad, wana sell me back my brake light  ), cusioning my badass seat (really ass pain riding home today cos sitting on the bolts and nuts, literally), fiberglass to cover ALL the holes in the fender and finally to SPRAY.. :cheeky:

I was talking to mepkoh about the rubber under tank which prevent the tank from hitting the frame when you go over pot holes, etc

I know there is one rubber at the screw where it connects the tank to the frame. Any1 have any idea where is the other rubber support and where to buy them?

Thank you! :)

Just a suggestion, just cut out the rubber from an old inner tube, make a hole and put it in between the tank and frame... :cheeky:

As claimed, There's a need to drive when we have a Family. But all that is needed to ride is Dream... Many are still dreaming about it.

Nomad, What's the damage to do your seat? The seat cover will be riveted or glued to the pan?

I just move the tank slightly of the original position and i saw the tank is resting on the frame and under tat i can see a hole... i assume there is where the rubber thingy sits... I got rubber from the shoe repair uncle. pretty thick. I slice off abt to make it around 5mm and put it under...dunnoe works not...later going to "obstacle" course to try...:cheeky:

there are 2 insulators...

one at the where the tank and seat meet...there is some sort of a big..round washer where u tighten the bolt to fasten the tank to the frame..

there is another rectangular piece that is placed between the frame and tank..position is the other end of the tank from the mounting bolt..so when u tighten the bolt..it will tank will press the insulator to the frame..as simple as that..

hope ur clanging soung is gone....when u test bike..:cheeky:

the second fell off ..when i remove tank..and from that day onwards have this clanging sound...the insulator in tatters cannot be used..

Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience every time:dot:

Thanks bro...so far so gd at the "obstacle" course with full tank petrol. Tml go work got a hum at 70km road...tat will show if it works.. :) Thanks for your help...

Update: 30km after full tank, went over a hump @ 70km/hr with no "tong" sound. Normally should have. Hopefully this will solve the problem and end it. Thanks everyone for helping me and guiding me...

Turbo charger anyone?

Haha.. But I feel it's a bit pointless to install one on a bike like Shadow 600..
