This is really taking leather seat out of context.....

As claimed, There's a need to drive when we have a Family. But all that is needed to ride is Dream... Many are still dreaming about it.

1. I would like to ask if bros here do change their air filter to aftermarket ones?

What brand are recommended?

2. What engine oil is recommended? I would prefer a 10w one.

Is Indemitsu ok for steed? Coz last time my civic i always use Indemitsu ones. Good!

3. What brand is a good choice for chain lubing? I intend to DIY every 1000km, with the help of a car jack. I am totally noob to chain lube tho..need to pick up fast.

Aif filter Stock IMO works well.. K&N drop in will lose some low end torque, but it's washable so save money in the long run..

Engine oil stick to 4T, car oil doesn't work well for bikes with wet clutch.. Avoid ester based oil for old bikes..

If you're using O-ring chain, be sure that u use lubes that are compatible.. If normal chain anything within your budget I guess.. Washing the chain is a pain in the @ss tho.. As for the car jack, there's a point under the exhaust for you to place it.

why not try to DIY your own Oiler.. longer life span for your chain and sprockets and save alot of $$$ for Lub cans.

Thank u all for the reply.

1. I will stick to original air filter then..haha.

2. I guess EO very hard to differentiate between brands, shall try using back on Mobil brand then.

3. Lubing of chain really needs discipline. Now i juz got my bike, so i will siao 'on' want to lube myself, i scared many weeks down the road I will get lazy and forget bout it..haha. Nonetheless, will buy 1 can of chain lube to try out first.

best way is to not throttle to "heavily". confirm FC will be better.

dunno abt others, but i hav better mileage when pumping v-power compared to 95 or 98 etc.

my runs at 27km/L.
