i am looking for back rest for the rider...anyone know where to get..??

is yours rider or passenger rest?

 

mine is a pillion backrest

And also my steed had this prob, mornin cant start, hav to adjust the idling screw to higher rpm.

Then when engine warm up adjust back again.

If dun adjust the engine can start but will die off in 5seconds.

Any bro face this prob b4?

haha..we are on the same boat, if i manage to solve i update u.

 

it can start but will die off...

i will adjust the idle screw till it wun die off..then when it warm up, i adjust back again.

if idle too high its very difficult to slow down when at higher speed...dangerous.

 

must get it solve quick.

hmm i dont know how relevant is this but when my bike was going through this die-off nonsense, it was something to do with the battery.. if not perhaps you could check your sparkplugs, if your plugs are new, maybe its the plug cables cos that happened to me too, plug was working fine, plug cable faulty so the current doesnt flow smoothly causing the engine to die

Ah boy quoted me $175 for a pair cum installation. 2nd hand side covers cost about $30-35 a pair from scrap yards.. Gmoh has one extra,but I dunno if it's left or right side..

change what? the plug cables? mine is ngk, 15 bucks thereabout.. after that smooth riding ever since.. so far. haha anyway send me the pics when you can, you got my email right?

If you are okay with it. you could try my mechanic. He will give you rather honest diagnostic. only advise you to change the relevant parts. Shinko tires at

$175 with installations is damn cheap if you ask me. bridgestone rear tyre along already cost $160. Thanks dude for complimenting on my bike.

I feel that the choke dun even work..haha..

I got a feel its the plug cables...coz the bike can start smoothly.

Mayb hunt at sungei kadut scrapyard, i live near there..hehe..

Can anyone recommend a good place to buy these. Cheers.

I have skimmed through the manual.

it's a good 30 pages of instruction.

We need to sit down and analyst the manual together.

There are alot of other interesting things to do.

valve clearances on most bike is...if i remeber correctly is

inlet: 5 to 8 micron meter.

outlet: 8 to 10 micron..this is what i gather ..

Can try ah boy shop or the auntie shop for the saddlebags. Good or not? Hmmmm for other parts can try chong Aik, everfit, eversuccess and fjt.

Also using shinko tour master for the rear and so far not bad. Quite good grip in rainy and dry days. Definitely cheaper than metzelers or bridgestones.

yeah true. once i asked about his custom steed tank, converted to sg dollars is about $2000 +.
