Bro Kit, I have her for 6months liao and is still at tip top condition, no leaking and no problem starting the bike after parking a month in carpark :p Really love my bike..now gonna start the makeover after the right signal was stolen :(

I sent to the same bike shop you recommended but not sure if the boss can do a nice makeover bo. Btw , how is your new ride, GS?

anyone have encountered problem with the water pump before? I think my seal is worn off after I found engine oil colour change like teh tarik!!I just found out today and would highly appreciate your kind advise. Also wher to go for servicing for this type of job and the cost for repair. Txs.

that bike is a thief magnet... :cheeky:

 

No worries about the shop as long as ah leong is there. very skillful guy. Only problem about them is always too busy hence they are quite slow :cry:

 

The GS is great too a certain extend, went for a trip up north and back with not much of a problem after i got retrenched at the end of last year. till now still looking for a job.... :dozed:

Hello bros, I need a little help again:P

 

I just bought a new Steelmate alarm 8003 from a private seller. Need someone to fix up for me. My current bike shop doing makeover for my bike not willing to fix up the alarm for me. Any bikeshop I can go to or anyone can do it? Will be paying for the labour. Anyone know roughly how much is the labour for fixing the alarm? Pls PM me the labour cost if you're doing on your own. Thank alotz

easy way out... just tap the power to the battery. No remote start, just have the alarm :cheeky:

I have a damage cam shaft and cam rod...any idea where i can get a second hand set? where to fixed? 1 shop quote me $1k for getting a 2nd hand and fix...who get better lobang? if not i gonna send the bike to scrape yard... before scrape... any steed bro may want to grab some parts from my steed at a neg price if no parts to fixed my steed?

I would like to ask the steed riders here for the view, this is fixable? after the fix will it still last long? or i might need to overhaul the engine too?

Hi bros, I'm selling the brand new steelmate alarm 8003 as I can't find a trustworthy shop to install it. Some bike shop that I asked even tell me that my bike will be burned before my bike was stolen. Letting go at $100 firm. If no one interested then I'll post in garage sales. Thanks. Oldboy, you might wanna try those scooter shops at Kallang ave near Ah Boy's workshop. They are pretty good at doing it cos a lot of maxi scoot install them

Btw, I just visited the my bike from the workshop in the morning and saw the ape hangers handlebar fixed onto my bike.. Rather excited to ride on my bike again. Will post up some photos to share after collecting my bike. :)

Last month was at Ah Ann Trading, saw a FN Steed VSE for sale at $900, everything intact (not salvage for parts yet), I only saw the rear tire is flat, paint work and the chrome pipe still nice.

 

According to the boss the bike COE is ending soon, but renewable, not sure if its still there now. Might be worth to call if you are looking for a cheap bike to restore. :)

27 Jalan Buroh scrap yard, call to see if its still available before going down to avoid disappointment. As I was there last month looking for used parts and happen to saw the steed there cover up.
