the chiong shock absorber i saw is as simple as putting a sticker like "bitubo" over a non original canister lor.

anw, which brand is with the compression adjustemnt?

like that not considered chiong la :sian:

if like that considered chiong, i think got alot funny brands like pepsi, red bulls already..

anyway, bitubo got 2 models.. 1 with compression damping, 1 without..

Normally one would 'service' their shock only when the bike gets wobbly because of soft suspension due to no or bad rebound rate..either spring is soft or gone bad. Some ppl go for full refurbishing when only their back suspension oil seal gone (oil leakage) bad or/and impact protection rubber damper damage.

As for the canister..I think its unction as a high and low-speed compression adjustments that aids the spring in rebound..."rebound" here meaning..the spring when compressed must return the suspension damping rod back to its original position after daming as quickly as possible. So to say..if the canister is about empty..I guess it does not aid the spring in this area of performance much and the spring becomes soft thus that adjustment (click level) has to be used till it reach it maxs one day..like your case.

Yes..the spring will be adjusted back to minimum (reset) again before canister guess is top up. so in your case..if no oil leak or protection rubber damper (at bottom of the shaft inbetween the spring) is ok..just go for a canister refilled. Don't worry..David (shop owner specialist) knows what to do and will advise you accordingdly. In case what I say here is not correct..plse do post here and advise accordingdly what he said so that we all learn.

hi i have some questions on the front suspension.

how much does a new spec 2 front suspension cost?

and how much to service a new suspension?

is there any alternative to a brand new one?

I got those for $420 in the plastic with Honda's label. So I guess that could be the price.

has anybody or friend use bike lab rear suspension spring before?

any review for it?

thinking of changing it becoz my bike is alway on heavy load..

I am using it. To me the hardness its about 50%~70% extra compare to your original ones . If you have heavy load behind (most of the time) then you might consider replacing them
