hi, may i know where can i re-work my suspension and how much am i looking at? i heard there is a good mech quite good reworking suspension between braddell and serangoon..

The mechanic is called David and you can give him a call at 98178791. Cost is around $150 for front forks and around $280 for rear absorbers. A friendly and knowledgeable suspension specialist, highly recommended. :thumb:

The one you referring to is Teck Thye at 12 Bradell Road (name David). He starts at 1 pm only. Cost $240 for fully rebuild and servcing with added spring rebound spacer.

Not sure if there is any price increase since Rossifumi_46 metioned $280..but tell him Ah pek send you..likely you get $240 still. Not business affiliated..just a friend of mine.

This pretty much sums up the main objective and conclusion to an unpleasant episode. :nono:

Forgot to add that you will get a discount for mentioning Ah Pek's name, highly recommended for those who wish to refurbish their absorbers. :thumb:

You could check to see if the rear absorbers are leaking with damping oil, if it is then it's about time that you get it serviced.

In your case if there is no rubber damper damages or oil leakage and the back wobbles at cornering...just have your canister gas up. Cost $40 per canister the last time I spoke to him.

"bro, i have all our sms communication. n u clearly said u will collect from me on sunday cos u will b on the way to cck. n when i sms u on collection day n yesterday theres no reply. u keep silent n still have cheek to neg feedback? watever it is bro. feeling guilty then log in trying to clear ur name? have a good day."

Infernalanwar , does the msg abve seems familiar to you? U might or might not remember cos too many lies told to many people. U committed to buy my stuff a couple of months back but twist and turn your story saying reservist, u did message me but i never reply to your sms and turn the table around and all the nonsense. U ask me to hold the item for your for 1 week and I did hold for your, but in the end u were just being irresponsible and dishonest. Worst, you still have the cheek to give me a negative rating just because I leave you a bad rating due to you being a 'dead buyer'.

If I am lying, do you think all these bros here will react the same way as I did? The same old **** and bull story u are giving to the rest of our SB bros here. Maybe you just have no balls to admit your fault. Can you stop all these nonsense? Let us sell and be in this forum peacefully. People like you are the ones who tarnish community and bikers name. I just hope that you will feel the medicine of your own doing someday somehow. And I am sure all other victims of yours feel that way too.

Bro Ah Pek, I am sorry to hear what happen to you. And to the rest of the SBers here who are scammed by this Infernalanwar.

Can moderator do something abt this guy? like the rest of the SBers here, we are here for the same objective - bikes, and this guy cheat so many ppl here.

  • 1 month later...
so this David from Teck Thye is quite good in servicing forks and suspensions? Compared to bikelab? and can he do bitubo shocks? and steering dampers??? :S

He's a pro and specialist in this line..a reputated race mechanic and u got Hayabusa to overhaul..he can do it too. As for Bitubo shocks..he can do too but I suggest you go to Bitubo agent..check with a forumer here call "Archer" I think.

About Bikelab..yah..read that they are good too but best u visit them and find out what's best for you.

Off-track abit but,

Im riding x1 and i feel that when i ride, it feels quite bouncy. Is there a way to harden it myself or must go to bike shop and do? If need to go shop, around how much? I know its at the wrong place to post but i hope i get some help. thanks.

Its either tyre air pressure too low or your suspension rebound rate for the spring is soft. If your suspension as a big round screw type ring...just turn it clockwise to compress the spring..if no..then likel have to get a new unit.

I got bitubo shocks for my rear. during high speed corners i tend to feel a slight wobblish feeling on both my front and rear. i've 'tightened' my rear shocks.. any better methods to stiffen em? :cheeky:

might be time for servicing..

PS: its the same a10 when you bought it? square off already.. i saw the bike in SIM about 3 weeks ago.. need to change it already.
