me currently using HEL. previously use spiegler... difference is HEL uses stainless steel banjos n fitting whereas spiegler uses aluminium banjos n fittings. all steel braided hoses can last thru out ur ownership of ur bike... even OEM hoses can last u long. but of cos the older the hose, the higher chance it gave way.

HEL doesn't use stainless steel for its swage wrappings. braided hoses are actually very cheap.. it's the banjos and fittings that makes the whole brake lines so expensive.

$12? is it good enough? cos brakes concerns life...

most of the hoses is steel braided but the cover is made of other material. not sure about the banjos n fittings that made the cost steep but i take it as everything as a whole.

anyway, thanx for the enlightment...

how bout goodrich??

goodridge or goodrich? :cheeky:

goodridge are the top of the line hose sets available, due to their banjos and fittings..

alot of AM hoses around.. goodridge, galfer, speedbrakes, HEL, etc etc..

personally i go for goodridge or speedbrakes.. speed brakes have pre-cut lengths for diff bikes, just fit, bleed and go. got diff colours to choose from too..

i wun say where i recommand. instead, i ask u where do u feel comfortable to let the mech do? if i recommand, u feel no good? how? best is u source for a shop that u can trust then let them do.

so far, i had gone to GHC serangoon to bleed. bikelab oso got when i install spiegler. then vector one for hel hose but the price is damn steep. but i'm happy with wat they do so can say money well spent for me.
