  1. To Learn how to ride your motorcycle in the rain by practicing smooth throttle control, gentle braking, and maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles.

  2. Performance wise still OK. Been using the MT-15 for the last 6 months. As of now the thing I do not like about this bike is the left hand switch which is dangerous to use in my opinion.(B8D-H3972-00 Left Switch Holder) The horn button is so far off, its like non existence have to really look and reach for it, if not you would end up pressing the signal button. The newer V2 switch is even worst they corrected the horn issue but they created another one ,which is merging the high/low beam switch with the pass now you can only press the horn or pass switch, you cannot use both unless you are using your fist. Experienced riders knows you always need to have your index finger on the PASS switch and the thumb resting on the horn when riding. For those who are riding bikes with this type of switch I advise you to quickly change it, as you would really need the 2 secs that could save your lives. B8D-H3972-00 Left Switch Holder V2 The best switch I've encountered is still from the RD350 YPVS long long ago. Those who have experienced this bike would know what I mean. Simple and solid but sadly you cannot find it now.

  3. I think nowadays, the Transfer of Ownership can be done online at OneMotoring. Another thing is be very very careful of COI. I have not gotten clear information if a person's credit score is affected when taking over the remainder loan amount. And some riders what they do is don't do any paperwork just new rider continue to pay the shop the monthly amount until all finished (and hope the prev owner still around to do the transfer..). Still shady and I did not go thru with any of the Carousell deals I attended for possible 'project bikes'.

  5. I would also suggest from experience, aiming to max out power and speed with expensive mods when the bike is new, is not advisable. The machine has been setup from factory for a particular blend of performance, handling and safety, modifying it without mastering the stock config to me is a waste unless rider is a pro racer doing a race build - not likely in SG streets. Likewise buying expensive "upgraded" suspension and replacing on day one, upgraded as in how? Spring rates? Adjustability? Ride height? Dial in comfort or response settings? Oversteer or understeer feel? If not mastered the factory specs again how to optimize the machine properly? I would also suggest against putting any unnecessary additives in oil and fuel be it hardware or performance enhancing gimmicks. Fuel saving gadgets never work as advertised, they're mostly scams, Octane booster could solve a problem on a vintage machine with a knock problem but new EFI machines have complex fuel maps to optimize ignition timing. Ditto additives in motor oil that can ruin your motor from not knowing what are the additives doing inside...

  8. Completely agreed.. but white lots are usually far far away.. hahaha.. Leaving note is abit extreme.. maybe just come back earlier next time.. haha.. I feel you bro.. especially when we stay near supermarket (within 10km no other supermarket).. hahaha..

  9. Don't think choping of lots is nice la. But what really grinds my gear is at my carpark which I paid season parking to park in the red lots always occupied by those people parking temporarily (those who don't live here), like only come here to meet friends or what then when I reach home I have to park some 200m away.

  10. Season parking can park both red and white slots. If all red runs out, park at white is fine too. Usually ppl have preferences over certain slots, but it's too extreme to leave a note to tell ppl to move off. Shows ppl how "self-entitled" some riders can get over time. Typical palm face scenario...

  11. @apogeeXX Yup seems to be ALWAYS ON when we saw them testing it. The power draw might be a drain on older bikes with less efficient alternators. Yes bro, can request to the bike shop to rewire to ignition. But this voids the warranty of the IU. If it breaks or spoils, you would need to go back to the bike shop to request them to wire it back directly to the battery, otherwise the warranty claim will be rejected.

  14. Generally.. Loud pipe doesn't save lives with road users having the mentality of "I have my right of way" and of course, with the academically test result from the above. However it does save lives to a certain extend. i.e Loud pipe, provided quality ones (wink wink), do project a significant amount of sound vibration that can be penetrate to most modern vehicles (Unless there is a vacuum layer, which I don't think there is any) even from a distance to the front. Not sure if it is a reason why our local SCDF ambulances have changed their siren to low frequency strong vibration sound but that is what I can think of the reason for such changes.
