I went APC after passing out.

 

Before passing out parade, they ask for those who were interested in joining the traffic platoon, so i went for the interview lor. Out of my batch of 12 riders, only 3 of us have bike license. With bike license, the chances of you entering traffic platoon is higher.

 

Incentives of traffic platoon?

1) you get $150 for every 3000km clocked. I ORDed with 22000km accident-free mileage. When raining, you stay inside bunk and sleep for whole day because sergeant will not want to risk riders getting into accident, but that's subjective cos some PS will want you to clean bunk and conduct inspection and stuff la..standard one.

2) I gained quite a lot of road experience...we do patrols most of the time. quite fun la.....haha..depends on wat u want.

 

Cons:

1) you must not be afraid of suntanning...cos practically under the sun most of the time with the no.3 top.

2) if you get into accident....will be barred from riding until investigations are over which can take super duper long...and when everyone is outside riding...you stay inside bunk and rot.

 

that's wat i can think of now la...busy with something now..haha..if u wana know more...post here..i will fill u in....haha
