Well, yeah there are exceptions to the rule. That's why I said women's scents are generally EDPs. Btw, I think you meant Dior 1947, not 1967. Anyway thanks for correcting me.

Lacoste makes ok scents. I dun really have much exposure to it. If you like sweet scents, you can try the Escada range, or Paris Hilton Just Me or Britney Spears Fantasy or try Anna Sui's range. These are more for the young ladies. For slightly mature scents, try Thierry Mugler Angel (sweet but very complex) or Lanvin Eclat D'Arpege or Gucci Rush. These make you smell like a classy girl with lots of money. heh heh.

Hmm actually im a Issey fan and i have been using Issey for men for many years.

 

It is true when you spray on your body it does difer from person to person but normaly what i do is i spray near my shoulders(not on body) and underneath my collars as the collars are not expose to much to external breeze or any perspiration so it last longer.

 

Another factor for me is due to im in an air-conditioned room most of my time so the fragrance retains longer.

Note: If you plan to spray on your clothes,best not on white shirt but for issey is ok if you spray further as will not leave any colours on it as Issey is near to transparent.

 

Issey pour homme(Parfum) still smells better compare to the new Leau Bleue D'Issey Eau Fraiche

Look for the word HOMME. Means Male in French.

For the laydees, it's FEMME.

How about Mont blanc Starwalker or salvatore ferragamo ( both often lasting me more than 7-9 hours )

and a very good place to get cheap cologne is lucky plaza .. shop name if im not wrong dollar and scent .. by a indian family i think .. when u wanna buy .. ask them for the tester .. ( cheaper and sometimes bigger in size)

1) Smells of salty sea and sea weed. Seriously. People will think you are a sailor on shore leave. (no offence, its not a bad scent really, just very 'sea' like.)

2)Very popular, fresh citrus type scent. People will think you are a sporty person just out of the gym shower.

3) Another fresh citrus type. This is a classic. But can go stale after some time.

Test them on your skin (back of the hand). Give it a few hours to see how they react to your skin. Go with what smells nice to you. Also ask the honest opinion of someone you trust.

Wow, thanks for the advise... Went to try them out just now but finally settled for Clinique Happy for Men...
