Start of journey was at about 8.00pm frm ECP mac donalds there..

Reached back at ECP at 6plus in the morning.. with a lot of breaks at each kopitiam! and yishun dam break was about 1 1/2 hr..:cheeky:

Woah. That was fast.. Had always wanted to cycle all the way to the north but afraid that it might take longer then plan.

Actually had done quite a few night cycling. Depart from tampines. Furthest ever went is West Coast park. I always take the same route to city and back to tampines. So always wanted to try cycle to city to the north and back to east.

try to go in a ''circle'' like in a loop la.. like that can cover more place..

but i think that frm tampines to north (yishun, sembawang, woodlands) is not that far.. i think can reach yishun in 2hrs frm tampines.. :cheeky:

Hi guys,

Only cycled at night once a long time ago. I usually try to make a short trip on the weekends between East Coast Park and Changi Village and back, just to make sure my heart keeps ticking. I also commute to work on a bicycle, but that's just a 15min ride.

Also rather enjoy weekend trips to Sungei Ringgit in Johor. About 18km from Pengerang via Changi Point bumboat, another 9km gets you to beachside chalets. Probably enjoy the seafood more than the cycling...

Most of my cycling friends are fitter than me and train for races or triathelons. They join groups cycling several times a week at 5+ am and 7+ am. The last time I woke up at 5am, I was still wearing green, so not my cuppa tea.

Enjoy cycling, motorised or not.

I used to love casual mountain biking that I took it to places, tar and dirt. 2 wheels do really bring you to faraway places your 2 feet wouldn't even dream of walking.

And, night cycling is great too. No hassles of people/cars blocking your way :)

Tsk...if I can set a few hundred aside for one MTB just like 'em good 'ol days, I would. It's great muscular exercise for the legs too :thumb:
