Wa, I went to Ah Boy Shop earlier to buy box...

Darn cheap I tell you all! S$125 for gloss black Givi Simply (45L) box plus installation... The bike cover costs $25 only~ Woo Hoo!

But here comes the bad side... I went to Ah Boy's mech at Kallang... Waited for 4 hours before they help me install, some more drill wrong holes... Sianz~ :sian:

Yes, I have a very bad experience with them, broke my custom switch and watch without any apology. Not forgetting the 2 hours wait..

Please avoid going to his workshop.. please..

lol spot on observation! i'm not accusing LAB of selling expired tires, but its not worth it to buy cheap tyres when their lifespan is at their end! save money, end up injured body and bike. So remember to check the dates before they are put onto your rim!

Hi All,

Just some friendly advice. Do not buy from Lim Ah Boy. My father rides a Honda Wave (damn cheap bike) and went to LAB for repair for some wierd sounds in the engine. They repaired it and my father went home, but the problem came back, so my father went back again. This happened 8 times! Later my father found out the reason for it. They have been using grade 3 imitation parts!

Cheers,

Jeff Pang

well, watch out for what u buy loh.... i usually buy raincoat ar, gloves, helmet, screws, bulbs from them (Cheap cheap)... tyres, parts this kind of thing i will rather go for my trusted mech... not only the exp date is impt, skills of installation also must take into account. im not saying that are ermmm no good but like i say i prefer my frequent mech.

Bro wat i can say that some mech down there is also very knowledgeable, and yes even though the shop is messy, some of our bike are even using parts from the third world country,i tink it' not ur luck that ur bike broke down , but i strongly suggest that you go to ur trusted mech to isolate ur fathers bike. For me buying them a drink will help most of the time.:thumb:

Just bought a bike cover from them few days back n really felt disappointed. Previously cost was abt 12 to 15, then they increased to 18. It was ok for me since still cheaper than other bike shops. But when i opened up the bike cover, it was kind of c see through type n without any interior colour layer unlike the one they sold previously. Yet they increased the price somemore :sian:
