Selamat petang AbgDDD. Leh tanya sikit since most kat sini leh dikatakan regular track goer.

What is the checklist needed (bikewise) before going to track? Tank kayu in adbance.

 

aku jawabkan bleh??? kau tanya yamaha rider lembab sikit. pasal yamaha respon memang lembab.

kau kena tanya honda rider mcm aku....

Wah Syam, Yamaha rider lembab eh swek ko.... anyway thanks for the "manual" very the informative :thumb:

 

Dari pengalaman, kira hampir sume Syam dah cover lah...

 

This is my Personal Checklist:

 

Before track session:

 

1) Check engine oil level, change as and when required

2) Lubricate rantai,

3) Tyre check, ensure in tip top track riding condition

4) Set suspension to track setting (optional)

5) Check brake pad (make sure belum haus)

6) Coolant level make sure jgn kurang

7) Petrol - Preferably high grade for maximun engine/bike performance

8) Bring along the tool kit that comes with yr bike and tyre gauge.(Its much better to use yr own for standardising)

 

At the track:

 

1) Set tyre pressure to track requirement (betw 29-31psi). This is my personal preference so far depend on tyres condition and weather.

Nak kena try out on the track before you settled on one that suits you the best. As pointed out by Ehem, (very impt) set yr tyre when it has cooled down. Sebab tu kalo boleh sampai track 1 hr before.

 

2) Remove no plate (kalo takmu make sure its properly secured)

remove mirrors (to minimise distraction from bikes at yr rear), some feel more comfortable ade side mirror *jeling kat Kuntare*

 

3) Cover the headlight (to prevent glare to others....lagi pun tk macho ah ade lampu)

Ini sume personal preference.

 

Personal checklist

 

Mesti cukup tido....very the impt. Before start and during session mesti minum air banyak2, kalo boleh energy drink to replenish your body,

mkn light breakfast, jgn heavy nanti perut meragam, dah kena gi membuang *jeling kat SiBingai* da pakai suit susah. Yang paling utama baca Bismillah

lepas tu whack the track......ikut kemampuan diri dan motor. Sekian.

kalau aku racer, aku tk perlu full-time job... so if possible, do not call me that as i work as a technician elsewhere.. gambar moto still with Wan #66.. aku tkde digital camera dah..

 

btw, i'd like to add a tiny bit.. to be most accurate, only set ur tyre pressure when ur tyres are totally cold.. if can, before u even start your bike.. novice riders are better off using a higher tyre pressure than the standard 30psi range.. only more advanced riders are likely to benefit from a tyre set @ 30psi.. instead, try 34psi or so for the 1st time at the track, as u are not likely to be able to heat up the tyres to the optimum heat and pressure.

just make sure sblum nk cuba main track tu, biar la lengkap semua perkakas keselamatan... moto in tiptop condition.. tayar no cacing pls.. come with a clear mind... ingat saje Tuhan... da..

Roger bro. Thats why ada appointment ngan Saudagar Kulit MSR this Saturday. I will be sure to get Abg Man to check my bike before my "pecah dara" kat track.

- brakes pads/brake lines

- tyre threads/pressure

- minyak

- engine oil

 

how about fork, suspension and cosmetic of bike? Mirrors removed? Signal lites? Number plates?
