The diff between PILOT POWER and POWER RACE is the groove and heat cycle..

 

Walaupun PILOT POWER is a two compound (2CT) the groves n heat cycle are not meant for hard track riding or racing.. Itu 5lap race pon blum tau tu tayar leh angkat..

 

No doubt the PILOT POWER is rated OK when they tested the tyre in Europe Circuit.. But Europe tak sepanas negara kita dol.. So the tyre tak overheat sangat and thus can take the heat cycle well..

 

Baru aje kawan aku budak cina pakai PILOT POWER pi pasir gudang terus terbaring kat turn 1.. Dia biasa pakai POWER RACE then tangan gatal nak try PILOT POWER.. konon nye mechanic kedai cakap tayar tu bagus lah oklah tahan lama lah.. Now jawab pelan2 pi repair moto.. siapkan 3k aje..

 

Member aku tu naik ZX10 n aku rasa kau lagik laju dari dia..

 

Bottom line is kalau ade niat nak masuk track, pakai aje terus tyre for track use..

 

After all its also Street Legal.. Lagi pon the diff in centre wear is not much..

 

Street Legal Race Tyre Vs SuperSport Tyre - diff in centre wear is only less than 4k mileage..

 

List of Street Legal Race Tyre available in the market are Michelin POWER RACE, Metzeler RACETECH, Pirelli SUPERCORSA PRO, Bridgestone BT002..

 

List of SuperSport Tyres are Michelin PILOT POWER, Metzeler SPORTEC M3, Pirelli DIABLO CORSA, Bridgestone BT014..

 

Like i said the SuperSport tyre tested ok for track use in Europe but in our country if u gonna use it for occational track day then i shall say :goodluck: to u.. :thumb:

out or kalau takde choice, aku terpaksa try tu tayar jugak.

kena railing bistu tangan dia putus....ishk, selisih malaikat......

Aku ader anak bini nak kasi makan. Biar jatuh pat track, jgn jatuh

hhmm...lau 400cc n above akan ku pertimbangkan...

yelah...nnt cam smalam aku lah penghidu carbon2 mereka selpas berambusnyer haze...
