bang bingai, my honest opinion - change a new set of tyre. pasal kalau da tampal for 2 times, the risk will automatically be 2x higher :sweat:

 

aku takut pisang berbuah dua kali nanti...nanti kau jugak yang 'heart pain' kalau yamaha bad boys kilas kau. memang niat di hati nak desut sekali, apakan daya tayar da dua kali ditebuk orang :D

Pilot Sport??? Setahu aku Michelin cuma ada PILOT POWER and POWER RACE..

 

So i assume kau pakai Pilot Power which is more to road use..

 

I would use the Power Race instead..

 

Yang kau ni tak consult aku b4 change tyre ape kena lak..

 

Malu eh nakk consult Yamaha Bad Boyz..

 

Moto kau dah macam werks bike.. Race fairing, akrapovic, etc.. tapi tyre jln2 geylang lorong punye yang kau pakai.. :sorry:

dulu only pilot sport and pilot race..

MELAKA TRIP - SATURDAY 11/11/06 Be at ESSO Gelang Patah by 5pm

 

Please dont be late.. Shud be at Tuas Checkpoint by 4pm coz heavy traffic for bikes are expected.. :help:

 

Tolong Check moto masing2 b4 the trip.. Check tyre pressure, tyre wear, break pads, engine oil level..

 

Tyre Repair Kit tolong bawak sendiri if u dont have confident with ur own tyre.. :goodluck:

 

Attire for the Trip gasak korang as long as safety not compromised..

 

Ok gang dis gonna just a short trip and we will leave ESSO 2nd Link at 5.30pm SHARP.. I mean it 5.30pm SHARP.. Aku pantang sangkak2 ni semua so just dont be late n be at ESSO by 5pm or else pandai2 carik kite di MELAKA..

 

Highway Riding will be convoy type.. Aku baca threat korang nak blast 299km/h ni ape hal pulak.. Dah bertebiat nak mampus ke pe.. :help: Wateva speed we goin please dont force urself if u cant cope.. Jangan paksa diri.. We will wait at the next stop for u..

 

NO Racing please.. I mean if u wanna test ur bike top, do it on ur own and there shud not be anyone else sparing with u.. Jangan lah macam2.. Nak rentap pi turun Track..

 

Honestly wat im looking forward is a FUN ride with all.. Just enjoy the RIDE.. Kalau blast sana blast sini rentap sana rentap sini.. Haiz.. Its gonna be stressfull ride..

 

Lastly there will be more than 20bikes for sure.. So its gonna be FUN if all cooperate.. :thumb:

Aik.. Aku tak cakap tayar tu tak bleh main corner.. Sikit pon aku tak Cakap.. Ape tyre pon bleh main corner.. Nak berani aje..

 

The diff between PILOT POWER and POWER RACE is the groove and heat cycle..

 

Walaupun PILOT POWER is a two compound (2CT) the groves n heat cycle are not meant for hard track riding or racing.. Itu 5lap race pon blum tau tu tayar leh angkat..

 

No doubt the PILOT POWER is rated OK when they tested the tyre in Europe Circuit.. But Europe tak sepanas negara kita dol.. So the tyre tak overheat sangat and thus can take the heat cycle well..

 

Baru aje kawan aku budak cina pakai PILOT POWER pi pasir gudang terus terbaring kat turn 1.. Dia biasa pakai POWER RACE then tangan gatal nak try PILOT POWER.. konon nye mechanic kedai cakap tayar tu bagus lah oklah tahan lama lah.. Now jawab pelan2 pi repair moto.. siapkan 3k aje..

 

Member aku tu naik ZX10 n aku rasa kau lagik laju dari dia..

 

Bottom line is kalau ade niat nak masuk track, pakai aje terus tyre for track use..

 

After all its also Street Legal.. Lagi pon the diff in centre wear is not much..

 

Street Legal Race Tyre Vs SuperSport Tyre - diff in centre wear is only less than 4k mileage..

 

List of Street Legal Race Tyre available in the market are Michelin POWER RACE, Metzeler RACETECH, Pirelli SUPERCORSA PRO, Bridgestone BT002..

 

List of SuperSport Tyres are Michelin PILOT POWER, Metzeler SPORTEC M3, Pirelli DIABLO CORSA, Bridgestone BT014..

 

Like i said the SuperSport tyre tested ok for track use in Europe but in our country if u gonna use it for occational track day then i shall say :goodluck: to u.. :thumb:
