Hi guys, I am doing a polling to roughly tell how will this new model be seen in the public eyes. Please feel free to vote with your true preference and voice out your comments (try to be relevant)

Large 14” and 13” wheels plus a chassis built to cope with the city completes the picture.

The Piaggio X7 expresses itself as a highly characteristic every-day commuter through a range of colour schemes chosen to emphasise its elegant sporting nature. Hi, Thanks for information. I wasn't aware of this new product. I currently have an X9 in France (I'm expat here).

Design: Although I still prefer the X9 design I think this one is much nicer than the X9 which I definitly don't like. From what I can see, it looks a bit like the T-max 125 (not sure if this one exist in Singapore)

It looks like a compromise of the light and cruising scooter and seems adapted to city + Suburb.

Engine: It's a pity it doesn't exist in 200cc. 125cc is a bit weak for 160kg (I know it from my X9) and 250cc requires class 2A licence.

Brakes: Why don't they put as standard the X9 braking system which is fantastic.

Wheels: Size is perfect for a scooter. Not too big to allow easy manouver in the city but big enough for stability in curves.

I hope this helps you top market the product.

Let me know where you are located as I'm currently looking for X9 200 with less than 20 000km. Do you have that in stock?

Cheers

I know looks are a personal thing.... but I must say that this X7 lacks the panache of other designs... looks like a big carnaby with that windshield... not a good look imo.

Any news on a new manual shift scooter? The grapevine has rife with speculation of late...

Cheers.

what's the price like?

price are not confirmed yet but my guess is the 125 should be around 7k and the 250 will be after 8k to 9. All are just my speculation only...Lets assume the pricing will be in this range.

Think the underseat storage is a little small for a rider with a regular pillion.

appearance not appealing, compare to its previous line. Best is still x9, esp the backside, looks the best if compared to x8 as well.

looks good to me but

if its still using the same old water pump system as x9 & runner

i will not even consider getting it

Thanks for the feedback guys, please continue to review and comment on this thread.

It might not change what Piaggio Italy will manufacture but at least you guys gave Piaggio Asia Pacific valuable end user information.

thanks!

I have the X8 200 and I think it's the best balance in terms of looks and functionality.

This new X7 looks like X8 that's gone for an extreme diet.

seems like there isn't much new 200cc scooters brought into S'pore, this limits the choice available to us riders with only class 2B. Hope the importers will solve our dilemma.

I would say to be fair, the problems does not lies with the importers...

The jap imports do not have a single 200cc as well....

the problem lies with our licensing system...if I am not wrong, we are the only country in the world to be restricted at 200cc for the basic license.

Elsewhere in the world, typically you would just need a car license to ride anything 125cc and below and the basic license can allow you to ride to 250cc, if not unlimited.

I kinda like it but have to see actual unit.

X7 seems like a good all around scoot for the city and highways. And not too long and heavy like a typical maxi scoot.

Is there a 400cc version for the X7?
