Buying new bike

Hey everyone! Not sure if this has previously been discussed or not, but I was just wondering what the experience of the Experienced Ones was like when buying new bikes. Do you normally pay the asking price, or is there some room for negotiations? Are there any "standard accessories" that you ask for? What are some of the common surprises? I know some dont include IU, insurance and transfer fees in the quote. So, what are the questions I need to ask to have an "all-in" price?

Just take a piece of paper to write down the the cost of the new bike as many shops will play with figures. Dun let them catch u off guard.

Most importantly, do your homework first so you wont look like a sotong. But some will still chop you la, thats how they earn.

All you need to do is go as many shops as you can to survey them and know more about it.

 

For me, its the service. No hidden cost and beating around the bush.

 

Anyway, which ride are you hoping to get. It may help you too if you voice out, who knows.

That really sux then esp for non agent shops as they may not have a demo bike. Then hv to rely on bike owners for their review.
