Hey, those who buy pulsar, when you buy the bike, what are the things they give you? .. e.g. box? or raincoat?

anyone knows if universal motors would accept trade-ins?!? i'm riding a KTM now... interested in trading it in for a pulsar... would it be possible?

Ask only la.. As for me i have yet to buy.. Cuz have to really survey a good and i can afford bike..

 

Btw, new bike can ask them for those stuff 1 ma.. Dat is y i ask those who had bought pulsar, whether do they have those goodies.

damn solid lah this bike....if ur top priority is low maintenance i think this is it.

 

but if u switching from sportsbike to this bike i tihnk it takes some adapting.

 

bottomline- cost wise, its about as low as it gets. 1ltr-avg 45km, with a 18ltr tank it doesnt get any better.

i changed from sportsbike to this bike. and i adapt it very very well. the moment i tink of the amt of $ i save.. IT IS TOTALLY worth it.

 

Moreover, i travel 90km - 110km EVERYDAY, if i got a wave, with 4 litres capacity, i tink i have to pump it up once every 2 days

waadee, i tink if u are asking for oil filter, the bike doesnt have one.

 

abt the revtec, my review on it is 9/10 ON MY PREVIOUS bike tat is. coz i got an extra 30km b4 reserve after installing the revtec even though i did some agressive pickup and ave travelling speed of 120km/hr.

 

Yet to try revtec on this bike. My bike has no more space to install the revtec. Maybe u would like to try it out on urs and feedback us?

yes, they accept trade in. But as usual, price will be lower den market rate. Den again, u dun haf to post in forum, slowly look for buyer, and go thru all those hoo haa just to get ue bike sold. well, tats the advantage tat explains the lower trade in rate.

oh... thanks for the feedback... i'm very tempted leh... to give up my high maintanence KTM for a fuel efficient pulsar... don't know if i should trade it in...

jsut kidding.. actually it depends on wat u really need. If really it is purely for transport, den I seriously tink pulsar is a good choice.

 

However, if u cant gif up the kick ur KTM could provide u with and think tat the 'kick' u enjoy outweighs the amt of $ spent, den i tink u shld keep ur ktM. again, at the end of the day, it is really up to u.

 

as u can see, travelling 90km - 110km a day is really no joke. No joke for a wave as well. moreover, with the 18litres full tank (i can actually pump up to 20.2litres), going to msia is a 'more worth it' thing to do.

to all my bros... had a bad day yday at JB.. i kena rob lah... but luckily manage to talk thru and settle for S$30.. me and my fren kena rob near the train station where the small shop is.. where most of singapore bikers park and buy cigrattes at. sigh.. thanks god my hp is still with me..

 

info: venue jus infront of that shop.

time: 715pm.

 

my mistake lah. coz only two of us are there.. no other singaporean. but you know lah.. there alot of ppl.. but still they walk passed us and jus pretend nothing happen. ok lah jus to share with you guyz.. dun go around this time.. unless more than 5 ppl. its best safe to go there btw 111pm-2am.. where many many singaporean bikers there.

i tink we pulsar riders are still small in numbers bro jeffaw mayb in the near future our numbers will grow since the goverment phasing out 2t bikes. those new riders will only have 4t bikes to chose and iam sure there will be more who are into pulsar

 

pulsar is my 1st bike and i just passed my 2b last mth. i lack experience which i hope to learn from u old birds riders
