dun be surprise...

the fuel gauge on the speedo is not accurate...

use the amount of fuel u pump to full when u top up to calculate the FC

After every downpour, I have great difficulty in turning my ignition key from 'off' position to 'on' position. Situation improves after 1-2 days of dry weather. But problem returns after the next downpour.

Any of u guys had or is having this prob? :help:

You can try some grease, i am using the maxima lithium grease. I just push open the key hole cover, hold the cover open with another key, then dig a bit of the grease with the ignition key and push it into the ignition. after repeating a few time the grease will get into the grooves of the ignition.

initially you might get some grease on ur key when you ride ur bike, but after a while u won't get that.

wd40 u need to reapply after every rain, it has good water repelling property.

but it gets washed off easily by the rain also.

Grease holds on much better.

Hope this helps

Remember to cover ur fog lamp when in singapore. A TP or Rov on his bad day will show u no mercy even if u don't switch on the lamp.

BTW can post a pic of the lamp? I am interested in installing also.

Thinking of getting those projection lamp types. They are very small and yet gives out ample amount of light.

GT85 will be a better alternative for your cables. it contains teflon which will help significantly in the lubrication of the cables. Other lub sprays which contains teflon is also good.

Yah the fuel guage not accurate.

I am 110kg, pump my tires front 27psi rear 36psi. Average speed recently doing 80km/h to 90km/h with quite aggresive acceleration. I am doing about 50% road 50% expressway.

I have 1 52L maxia loaded with one jacket and one modular helmet. 1 e21 pannier fully load with tools and 1 e21 pannier fully loaded with 2 sets of rain gear.

I have a pillion during 50%-60% of the time. I can clock 500km before I top up about 14L of SPC92.

My red light comes on at about 300KM mark.
