I felt so hurt inside when a friend of mine say that i'm stupid to get a pulsar. He say its a lousy bike and gave me at least 2 years and the bike will give me lotsa problems. He asked me "look at what happened to TIGER? its non-existent anymore".

I just hope that in 2 years time, pulsar will be a household name where parts will come in easy and cheap and i could prove to my friend that he's WRONG!

hi..so rafa, now taht your bike is 1.5 years old already (if you are still owning the pulsar), so any problems like what you friend said? Think one of the concerns of people who are considering pulsars is the reliability after abt 2 years since it is made in India.....any comments abt reliability from the pulsar brothers?

Announcement: Pulsar Tank Bra now selling at UM!

i don't really like the tank bra as it doesn't cover the whole tank though.. looking at something like the super-4 ones, full leather/syn leather kind, UM promised that they will bring in something like that about in the next few batches though.

Just changed my tyres to Bridgestone Battlax. There has never been better grip than this. Just a 2 kmph slight reduction on the Speedo though, i think. How long to season this new tyres?

And now using Castrol Activ 4t 20w50 the EO that James (PulsarBee) recommend. Thick and protects the engine damn well! 0 clutch slippages so far.

Rainy days try not to order pizza/kfc/macdonalds.

i think might be the chain guard rubbing against the chain. i got that problem as well. but when i went UM the mechanic help mi solve it. u can open up ur chain guard n see the inside of it. see whether got any abrasion there. my bike is at 52k n still using stock chain n spocket. Hope it help.

Hi to all Pulsar rider,

This mth 16th, my bike will be 1 yr old. Here is my point of view for this bike. When i jus got this bike, i gave him 3.5*/5. But after 11+mths of riding, it drop to 0.5*/5.Reason being this bike got too many problems already.

I agree that this bike is a low FC bike, but the money i save on petrol goes to the repair of my bike. It's parts spoilt too easily and it won't last long too. So far, i had changed almost half of my entire bike spare parts. Including left switch, digital speedometer changed 2x, fuel gauge changed 3x, oil seal ring 5x, switch cable 2x, clutch cable, switch clutch, diaphragm(rubber that suck ur petrol), and many more. Moreover my warranty is due, i had to pay for all the maintainance fee and the parts is not cheap either.

The reason for posting this is to let those ppl who is going to purchase this bike to think thrice. Cause for long term, it is not a GD bike to invest on and for transport. I really regretted buying this bike.

Maybe not all rider face the same problem as me and maybe i'm 1 out of the 1000 pulsar that face this problem, but i still hope that u all will think 4 times before buying this bike.

HAHAHAHA...... 1 out of 1000, that use to be my line.... LET ME HELP U Saved some money...

1) Wat type of EO are u using ? Ideas will be 20/50w. less than that u might face oil leak.

2) Fuel gauge- UM have fixed the problem. U can go back now without any charge even if warranty is over.

3) Dig Meter - if your bracket is the caused, than u HAVE to diy something to fix the problem. which i did.

Anyway, U can call me, we have a R & D team here. Dun give up.
