hi bros. as far as i know,the newer ug3 pulsar are the problematic ones. mine is also the new ones. anyway i went to l.a.b yesterday and he told me he can get the spare parts for pulsar like tank, bubble and etc. price he quote is cheaper then um. have to wait and see if he really can get the stuffs...

Pulsar 180 UG3 is selling at SG$2750 inclusive of everything.

Most expensive single part is exhaust at around SG$100 +/-

So far I have not experience reduced eo, maybe because i change my eo quite frequently.

 

Diminishing eo could mean there is a problem with a seal somewhere, design problem with the engine, or something else. Honda Phantom is another bike known for diminishing eo problem.

 

do you mean other lights like high beam, neutral, your mileage, rpm, all not showing?? Have u tried pester them to replace the meter foc?

 

wats visible in my meter now is, speed, fuel, mileage(partially) the rest is can't been seen, all the lines n etc nothing la bro, pester? i even left my bike there sayin if u don wanna change i'm not riding it. its damn sickening, i'm gonna ask for another solution, if no results, i'm thinking of lodging a complaint in CASE.

To be clear.....from the above some of u must have misread it....ITS INDONESIA not India....its not worth comparing price from the exported country but INDONESIA on other hand import the bike like wat UM did...And INDONESIA happens to be our neighbour...so m comparing the price der in INDONESIA.....So any input??? Just divide the price by 6.000 or 6.100 since i believe the current exchange rate is around there.

I support your actions. Must let them know even though they monopoly also cannot anyhow chop us.

 

But I dun think CASE can do anything also. CASE, we need to pay them for them to look into the case. At most they send letter to UM. Not very sure of how they will handle the case.

its true, dunno wher they get their price list, they know the problems r being caused by the production and not doing anything about it, even if they reflect back in India, who's going to compensate us? at times i really regret gettin tis bike, i bought it due to the low maintenance promised by the mechanic.

bike back from UM, serviced my carb, mech told my fren who helped me bring the bike for service, tat a rubber fitting inside needs to be changed due to expansion, which will help in flowing of the petrol, he also enquired on the chain and spok, says need to change new one. as recommended by another bro here tats he's mileage is at 50000 plus n never needed to change it so far, wheras mine is only 25000. sick of the bike man!

Tappet - If u feel strange noise form ur engine, the tappe might be the cause. try going to UM for tighting.

i agreed, when i brought this bike, is because of the low maintenance and low FC. Now, nothin i can do.

Just to add on, i brought my bike Dec 06, Digi meter spoilt after 2 weeks, went dw to UM, they say no stock, till Feb 07 then they replace one for me, cause can't see anythin except fuel meter, after changed, spoilt again after 2 week. I wait till OCT then then spare parts arrive.

 

Can you imagine tt i waitied for 8 MTHS before the parts arrive. Cycle to and fro india also won't take 8 MTHS. Till then, my warrenty had expired.

What a service by them.

went you go to UM, and tell them their problem, Chris will always say, dun worry, we will do a check and help you fix it. But everytime after they checked the bike, they will say this spoilt need change, there spoilt need replace, and all these cost $$.

 

and somemore that parts so ex.

Anyway, FYI, if ur control switch spoilt, it will cost you $58 to replace it.

my high beam switch spoilt, instead of repair, they told be cannot, must change the whole switch.

 

WTH, only ride for 11 mths and the switch spoilt liao.

That one is call diaphragm (rubber that suck ur petrol)- no choice... onli UM have the part. Diaphragm wear out easily when we use higher unleaded petrol like Vpower or so.

if u dun change, when u moving off ur bike, u will find that the bike keep jerking, lk the petrol cannot be suck up.

 

the longer u ride, u find that u had to change the rubber once every 2 mths.

UM mechs, sales, managers are not very helpful when we go there with problems of our bikes. they can even say "sorry lah, come another day. i busy" when i told them my bike got weird sound if travel ard 70km/h and above..
