on the 11th iam workin mornin... so after work iam ok.

 

iam working at pasir panjang terminal, yard crane operator, just work 2mth lah so iam still new bird...

 

my bike mileage iam still counting.. b4 i top up its was 3458...

Pilot light modification ?

 

Can be done DIY easily.

Did it once on my phantom previously.

 

only require a additional condenser and some modification of wiring to your orignal condenser.

 

Let me see if I can still find the circuit that I've drawn...

due to some reasons, i faced a situation whereby i need to kick start in msia. im so so glad that this bike has kick start.

 

also, i felt very very frightened coz i haven changed my tyres to tubeless.

 

so i hope the next generation of pulsar will haf factory fitted tubeless

Due to the 'UNDER'whelming support for the meet up for reason that are unavoidable, I hereby cancelled the meet-up session.

Bro jeffaw and bro lancified, do take note ok? Perhaps next time when theres a bigger group, then we'll meet up ok? Besides, World Cup season gonna start, everybody are going to be glued to thier TV sets.

First Service

The first service is the most important for your bike. In addition to the usual servicing, your gearbox should be opened up during the first service and the oil filter, found inside should be cleaned. This is to remove the minute iron filings that come about as part of normal running in.

 

Guys, I got this info from BajajPulsar.Org, did any of you guys do thos for your 1st servicing or is it unnecessary?

peeps i would like to share some things abt my bikes...

 

i tink all bajaj have gear problems.. mine is no less. now everyday my bike have dis '2 mood' while iam riding. let me explain.

 

1st mood: this is the normal mood, when i start my bike after is rested for abt 8 hrs. i use the technique of kickkin my kick start with switch off to circulate some oil into the engine. den i proceed to turn on my bike and electric start. a few minute of warm up and iam ready to go... as iam riding everything is normal.

 

2nd mood: this mood kicks in while iam riding no matter what the distant i travel and no matter what speed. when the engine is reving smoothly in 1st mood.. all of a sudden the bike starts to rev high and i can feel something is happening to the gears but wad iam not sure. then it switches it self to rev a little higher then normal and the throotle response is a little heavy also.

 

anyone knows wad is happening to my bike??

i rode a phantom b4 and had this problem as well. does it feel like it go into neutral gear itself when u rev high even when gear is engaged?

yup like it went into neutral but still engage.. just for that 1sec.

 

so it also happen to phantom? wad seems to be the problem brader paiseh??

spent amost $350 to do up the clutch plates. it is known as slipping of clutch plates tats y it goes into neutral gear kinda feeling.

 

the phantom is 4 yrs old coming to 5 now. and the problem is worse den urs. when travelhalf way u feel the need to overtake, u turn the throttle abit more it feels like neutral liao

well, tats for phantom. and our bike is still new... dun tink changing clutch plates can solve anything

peeps have you guys seen this bajaj?? new bajaj sonic.. i dont know the specs but its looks really cool... just that the exhaust looks funny. the body appeal alot to me.

my rear tyre went flat yest. just changed to a pair of tubeless tyres at universal. $130. i also got my battery charged up at no cost.

i beg to differ. i tink the exhaust looks nice! anyway, now the craze is with the weird exhaust look.

 

the body looks almot same as the present pulsar with sports rims.. rear suspension non- adjustable.. :hmm...

 

notice the side fairings still got cushion to cushion ur legs

mayb our taste differ brader paiseh.. the exhaust look 'toy' like. the rims colour cud be better.

 

the body looks great better then pulsar according to me. the side panel appeal to me more.

 

how many cc is dat bike anyway?
