Hi, im new here. May i know how long will it take to get a Class 2A license from SSDC, woodlands.

Interval from each lesson like if u fail lesson one, need to wait how long to book another lesson.

If u pass lesson one, the next slot for lesson two need wait how many days.

Im a polytechnic student. I pass my Class 2B at 15 june 2016 and i will be graduating next year in 2017 which means that i will be enlisting to NS either july or august. Im not so sure which date will i be enlisted. Anyone know? Should i risk to take Class 2A? And is there any TP test held on weekend? As im scare that if there is not enough time for me if i need a retest.

Depending your luck & skill...... :)

If 1 time all lesson & TP (waiting time 2 - 3 week) pass it might less then 2 month. As for the lesson depends the time slot basically is 1 week a lesson (especially lesson 1) but it possible got 2 lessons in week.

Hi All, wanna share my thoughts and experience.

Just cleared my 1st lesson at the 4th attempt at SSDC. Quite sianz having to repeat so many lessons, but realised its good for me. With every re-training, I became better at bike handling. Now you can say I have tamed the CBF400 and I love it! Haven't ride for 10 over years and started riding scooter only recently. So can imagine the catch up I had to do.

Anyway, I felt that the 120mins of training session at SSDC might be a little too shag for some of us, however I thought the instructors spent time coaching you which was beneficial.

I actually tried class 2A at BBDC and CDC, and ... both circuits were really very crowded, and each of us only had an average of 5 tries at the narrow plank, and pylon only, then very quickly had to do slope and remember the course route. No time for instructions also, very rush. And sometimes the bike you get at CDC is chui... some kenna buang and due to wear and tear, clutch control might be a challenge. CDC is using Yamaha YBR 250 and BBDC Honda CBF400.

But one thing about SSDC, not many lessons to begin with, have to wait for another week to book your lesson. Unlike CDC where you can book many lessons at once, SSDC doesn't allow that. BBDC TP test dates are very frequent and dont have to wait that long too. CDC have to wait long long.

The lesson structure at SSDC, BBDC and CDC also quite different. For 1st lesson, SSDC covers 5 obstacles (plank, pylon, bumpy, slope and e brake), BBDC and CDC covers 3 obstacles with a focus on 50% of the test route (plank pylon and slope). Then I realised safety checks across BBDC, CDC and SSDC slightly different (e.g. checking back process).

Well, I am on my way to do lesson 2 at SSDC, left figure 8 and crank course, and have to remember the test route.

Will share more again once cleared.

BBDC is now using a new fleet of CB400F for 2A.

If you are punctual. Then do warm up together, then the revision instructor will brief abit, then he will lead the convoy down to the circuit. After that OTOT.

If you are late, then register, take bib, take bike and go down yourself.
