Hi everyone,

Went for my Class 2A TP (first attempt) on 30/06, failed with 38 demerit points and no immediate failures.

Incorrect posture: 2 points

Wobble when moving off/stopping: 4 points

Wobble when changing lane/negotiating bend/turning: 12 points

Fail to maintain half-standing posture: 6 points

Brake whilst negotiating bend/turning: 4 points

Excessive revving of engine: 2 points

Fail to ensure safe clearance when passing other vehicle/object: 8 points

Got my 2B licence in May last year. I've only ridden a motorbike for a couple of times after that. Had to repeat each lesson for 2A, which I assume is due to my rusty riding skills. Clarified with TP on my mistakes and he mentioned that wobbling is my greatest issue. I find it hard to maintain the half standing posture on bumpy course due to my height (1.88m), and the instructors told me that I've to go much closer to the fuel tank.

Is there anything that I can do to prevent these mistakes for my next attempt? I've more than a month for my next TP and I've booked 1 RV 2 days before my TP.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Incorrect posture: 2 points

Need more riding experiences, go rent a bike and ride around carpark/neighbourhood area. (Cheaper then lessons) 😂

Wobble when moving off/stopping: 4 points

Same as above.. experiences..

Wobble when changing lane/negotiating bend/turning: 12 points

This is decision making.. once you decided on the lane, dun change your mind... despite my years of experience.. I "looked" wobble.. but actually I'm trying to decide on which lane to take..

Fail to maintain half-standing posture: 6 points

Need more practise on bumpy course.. find a "soft spot" for yourself.. half clutch biting point and abit of rev if needed.. or release more clutch.. depending on the speed and etc..

Brake whilst negotiating bend/turning: 4 points

dun brake while turning?

Excessive revving of engine: 2 points

depending on where you gotten this 2 points.. if it's bumpy.. then no choice.. but if it's normal road.. usually missed gears.. 1-2..

Fail to ensure safe clearance when passing other vehicle/object: 8 points

This one need to make sure all is clear before you move off from any "stop line" or changing lane..

Kindly read thru at least the intro section first before decide to post any comments.... thanks...
