Errmm what is spaceship interior?

I thought it looks more of a mix of modern and classic.

Spaceship interior would be the newer models....mine is old model already.

i find it japanese cars have better detail and ergonomics may be more suitable for asian body size and placement (at least for me).

not in particular about CLS (coz never drive one before ), but other vehicles that i have driven / passenger before, BMW, Ford, Cadillac

something is lacking (like power window buttons in middle console, not at the door)

or may be i just have poor man taste.. :slapforehead:

Generally,

Japanese makes have lower quality and design usually looks toyish

Plastics are lower grade and leather also lower grade

Ergonomics such as buttons are a matter of habit, just like wiper stalk position

but Premium continentals definitely make better seats.

Power window button at the center console for old BMWs are done that way so that front passenger can also control all four windows if necessary. nowadays some are located on driver side.

when you start driving premium continentals more often than Japs, you will understand more of what i mean.

Neil Slade .

This is my 1965 Lotus Elan S2

Purchased with a mere 10,000 miles on it, all original, runs like new. Have had it 10 years now.

Nice!!!

Still find that it looks nicer than the latested model

thanks, I also think so.

The new model is also nice but the bodylines are just not so flowy.

Mine is Jun 2008 just prior to the facelift (lights, mirrors, grill)...

In fact I find the facelifted model mirrors and the new CLS mirrors very ugly.

I like small teardrop mirrors just like my old E36 M3 mirrors.

I find the new CLS a bit messy in terms of design. Dont really like its rear though its kind of attention grabbing.

Still prefer your model especially with the AMG kit
