the myth about ZXR400 being a problematic bike is pure bullshit. If u do regular preventive maintenance....meaning, when its time to change, it is time to change.....bike will run fine

 

the bike is very responsive to tune....even the suspension set up as well...hence the chances of getting the wrong set up is very high, and this question another myth saying that ZXR400 cant turn.

 

Any Kwackers guys wanna set up your suspension, drop me a line, i do it for a cuppa coffee

hehehe...get the correct laden sag before adjusting the rebound damping....ZXR400 have a pretty soft rear spring rate, the reason why it feels stiff is due to the linkage ratio

me bought from private owner, check from internet classfieds. owner still left arnd $3.7k. just pay him this mth instalment and reloan from the shop. how i check the condition is based on my experience with my previous zxr4 and also with the help of frens. for me, the bike must handle very well cos i like to play corners. engine as long as no funny sound coming out of it shld be ok with me. front and back bearings need to check, tyres. outlook also a must unless u desperate the rest of the stuff/faults, will only surface after u buy the bike
