I have read so much, but kinda confuse. so many ppl are recommending kups bikes like wave, spark, x1 etc. but some are still criticising it, as it is small and thus it will be dangerous ? issit true ?

i am considering of getting a x1 or a sp. pls help.

and 1 last thing, wads the difference between a x1 and x1r?

In my opinion, cubs are okay not necessarily dangerous or unsafe to ride...

X1R is the newer version of X1, the whole outlook is different, nicer and more sleek, and its 135cc instead of 125cc on the X1 if I am not wrong...

my 2 cents:

kups are a bit more dangerous coz less power to escape a dangerous situation, very light;can sway if blown by strong wind while riding, and if u carry pillion...less power..breaking oso not sure...n very tired if ride long2...i dunno how those ppl touring on kup can make it....these r my observations when riding wave last time. and of course it saves you a whole bunch of money.

ohh ic... den how about the FC for X1-r and X1? same ? since X1-r is 135cc and X1 is 125CC, so X1-r has a higher FC? and roughly how is the FC for both X1-r and X1

Cubs in general, are ALL fuel efficient. That includes 2 stroke ones like 125z.. if u leave them in stock form, that is.

X-1 is only 110cc not 125cc

newer kups like sparkt135,x1r are better against wind.. and i mean strong wind like raining/heavy wind blow.. but when u squeeze btwn 2 bus.. ur bike will still shake left n right like u're being thrown to either side.. not recommended to try..

but for daily ride and etc.. it's still good.. they haf other accessories to help you wif ur handling like fork clamps..? increasing your bike's stability..

if ask me choose btwn x1r n spark..i will still choose a spark.. haha.. thou i love the x1r meter.. but i jus dun like it's handling.. =)

but if spark/wave/x1, definitely spark.. cos it has better acceleration and more power.. and more accessories to beautify ur bike.. and not forgeting the handling..

if u feel ur brakes aren't gd enuff, there's always oversize disc brakes for kups.. those racingboy(m'sia brand) ones are good enough to get the bite but it dosen't provides u the feel.. means u can't feel much when u brake rather than u just brake it will brake kind..?(dono if u noe what i mean... haha)

there's legal pipe for spark and x1r also (GPR).. increase acceleration and nice sound.. overall kups is a gd bike for transport and for those small corner like carpark/etc.. v.fun to play..

weight wise.. compared sp with kups? kups can just put on the floor and lift up w/o any hassle/much effort.. while sp.. you need more strength.. kups i think below 100kg.. sp is about 120kg??

ohh.. thanks for the effort.. u mean x1r and spark is not using disc brakes ? so i can conclude that weight doesnt cause the bike to be unstable ?

some things to clarify... what is a fork clamp?

and by fixing a bigger rim/tire to kup... will it be more stable? as in not easy to slip ?

X1-R is the only stock kup that has double disc brakes if i'm not wrong.

Thus giving you extra braking power as compared to other kups.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

why are some X1-r "head" different? some are smaller and lower and the normal 1 is more similar to X1
