Hi, just got my brand new Spec III not long ago and i discovered that my fock got a little scratches already. My neighbour advice me to install a fock cover. Do anyone install it before? Feel like getting it from LAB later but i did not ride to work today because of the rain. Wanna check can i install the fock my own and how much does it cost?

Thanks in advance...

Anyway Odd spelling for Fork...Fock like some vulgar language heheh.

I think you wan something like what the scramblers are having rite? A plastic fork guard. You could DIY. They don't have Fork guard for S4.

One simple way if you wanna try is to to paste a plain sticker over the fork. Choices of colours to choose from.

Yup, according to the mech, the fock cover is from scramblers. They Modify and put it on Super4. Anyone know how much does it cost and is it possible to install on your own???

does anyone haf any idea how much does it cost? LAB or FJT cheaper?

and can it also be fitted onto spec1?

i forgot how much does it cost, but it cant be fitted directly into a spec1 as spec1's fork is smaller in diameter..

i add double side tape on the inner side for it to stick on my forks..

IMO, the black protector is enough.. look at TS's avatar, he does has the fork protector..

i think TS is talking abt the fork boots(scamblers term).. IMO, no point installing that, becuz S4 dun trail, and the black protector cover is more than enough.. and your dust cover if in good condition will serve its purpose to protect dirt from going into the fork internals..

Anyone got to survey on this? What is the actual diameter needed for scram fork boot to fit? How much? Where to get?

maybe you can try going to those scambler accessories shop like Chong Aik, Ideal or even LAb to ask for the fork boots..

but chances are unlikely to find such a small size one for our forks..

the fork boots is the longer version of fork guard ryte? i think if fix on s4 is more likely for decorative purposes rather than protection. i saw some s4 with that b4 looks nice too but need to use cable tie to secure to ur forks.

but i just want to install the normal fork guard on my spec 1.

biting point u useing fork brace? got any type to recommend? or shop?
