Nice V-tapered back on your siggy. Is that a picture of you, BlueWarrior77?

By the way, congratulations on the success of your bike's heart transplant... :cheer:

Yes, thats my very own back pose.. Not here to scare anyone ya.. Peace.

Still too early to congrats.. Not even fix yet, parts still on the way flying in. Maybe can hear some opinion on my case.

Its not a factory production for the matter. Rather a kit from Muzzy. Hard running in advicable? Not many big hearts players here in Spore.. But views are welcome to note.

we all do stupid things behind the monitor, what we post on forum does not display our emotions in context, face to face, we do. there are loads of misunderstanding involves in here.

i know MS personally. he is a nice chap, tho crappy at times, as a matter of fact, everytime. but he is really helpful, and i believe he has apologised in one of his post. so quit throwing pebbles at him.

WW is my fellow magician so no way am i pushing all these to him too.

tho flame is off, there are still bits and pieces of ashes and sparks here and there. make it clean now. we are basically here to learn and make friends.

Since the flaming started i skipped to the last page, sorry if this point has been brought up in the thread but i'd like to know,

How long would a dyno run-in session/sessions take and how much would it cost me at Unity or Looi's?

Hi fellow bikers .... got a suggestion that will benefit all of us. How bout we come up with a run-in called the medium run-in. Say if a bike needs to be run in for 5k, first 2.5k use soft then the next use hard. In that way ..... it got all the benefits that the two apposing sides claimed to have and the disadvantages will be lessen too. Well its just a suggestion. To make it clear:

1) i didn't say it confirm will work

2) trying to imply that the both opposing parties meant well for us fellow bikers, but misunderstanding gets in the way.

3) If either way, hard or soft, each claiming they are better and until now the debate is still on, why not combine these two methods so we can have the best instead of the better.

4) then if the research works out fine, we can name it after us HAHA; singapore medium run-in

5) lastly plz dun flame me. I am just offering a suggestion that will do ALL of us good. none will be discriminated.

Peace to the world the lord has come .... Merry christmas!!

The hard break in method is there for so long laio. And SBF at here just started to discussing it only. other US bike forums had been discussing it for , about 2-3 yr back , some even longer time back. And the flaming is so much fun there.

i dnt tink SBF jus started to discuss tis wor. i saw the mentioned website quite long ago liao, was posted in sbf

hahahaha Yong 954... you are super neutral guy.. :thumb: no worries la, I "feel" the flames have died lah. and no one will flame you la.

AIE already play peacemaker, fireman, judge all rolled into one... walau, hard work man.. but effective

I know where you're coming from... but the combination of both maybe detrimental rather than having the benefits of both... OK an analogy... mix mineral oils with syn oils... oooohhhh... disaster... maybe, not a good analogy

Choose whatever way and stay commited to the preferred run-in method.

Running it soft initially may cause the rings and cylinder walls to be glazed instead of "buahing" until they seal... like for eg, your bake pads to have max contact, they must be "buahed" properly... otherwise if the pad or disc is glazed.. it's gone..kaput..liao

hmmm speaking of analogy... wonder if the word was derived from being anal about one's logic??... ie: analogic?? hahaha

"..I am a rambling old man..."

Wah, johntan. The way you say it like I'm an expert multi-tasker like that. :cheeky: Make me feel so paiseh... :shy:

By the way, analogy is a word by itself.

Anal means of, relating to, or near the anus, :giddy: whereas analogy means similarity in some respects between things that are otherwise dissimilar or a comparison based on such similarity.

Analogic on the other hand is of or belonging to analogy. :giddy:

Still a rambling old man who makes sense nonetheless... :thumb:

For the hard run in, On the dyno , it very fast as the first 40km is very important to let the seal set in. So it about 20min ,and at unity for the dyno run it should cost around 40-60. i forgot the price laio.
