actually does it matter if the rain coat comes with a hood? Somehow the helmet managed to keep water out of my body during rainy days.

I like raincoats with hoods because I dont like to wear my helmet all the time. Sometimes, I have to walk in the rain from my parking location and I will use the hood.

Also, biking is less for transportation and more for fun so I take bus and cabs more often, hence I like to be able to walk around in the rain without a helmet or umbrella. Will just use my Clover raincoat as it looks quite nice, like a normal windbreaker.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

Just got the RS Taichi Drymaster.

- It's very thin compared to my old progrip raincoat.

- Not yet tested in heavy rain.

- comes with 3 mths warranty.

- Overpriced for a raincoat in my opinion.

Got the RS Taichi Drymaster as well. It's thin and easy to compact and store. I like the pants which are longer to cover your ankles when your legs are in riding position. Lesser chance of my socks getting wet if I'm not wearing my boots. The jacket sleeves are longer as well to accomodate stretching your arms when riding.

At least there is more thought into making the raincoat for riders as compared to my previous Arai raincoat.

Have not tested it in rain though.

Mind telling us how much you got it for and at where? Thanks.

RS Taichi rainmaster can get from Motoworld. I got it more than a year ago at $70+. Not sure about the price now.

My apologies. I believe the RS Taichi raincoat I got was actually the DRYMASTER (not Rainmaster). Performance is excellent (no leakage despite heavy rain) which I believe is very important for comfort. My main problem is I am an M top but L bottom but you can't mix the sizes!

It is not your fault, my wife's drymaster also like that. Top ok, bottom very tight. I think it is a design problem.

I think the design is based on the male's proportion rather than a unisex one.
