OK, this might sound stupid, what's the major diff between pool and billiard?

Oh one more thing, sometimes you'll feel stupid asking a question, but you'll remain stupid if you don't ask! If you were to ask Redname and Pauche, these 2 zun kar bas***ds will talk non stop. lol

hello guys..i've been playing pool for quite a while and want to find your input on pool cues..currently im using Fury cues bought at the Q Shop..to me..i find it just nice..only the shaft seems rather un-sturdy and sometimes when i strike the cue ball..it sounds like the shaft is hollow..having thoughts of changing shafts..

so wanted to ask you guys what brand or type of personal cues do you guys use?and where do you buy them from?and what's your experience after the purchase?

oh..and is maple-wood cues good??all i noe is that they're really smooth.. :cheeky:

-- Super 4 VTEC III (400-1) -- 260608 --> ???

Ride as much as you want; keep in mind there's a family back home who loves you.

If you are talking about canadian Maple, it's good but it's gonna cost! there are different grades of wood for shafts and splice for the butt. if you are comfortable with the performance of your cue, stick to it and try cues from your friends to get a different feel to see what suits you. I'm still used to my Predator Z shaft with Sneaky pete's butt. ;)

unsturdy shaft is gd, like this can lessen the "throw" when u do english, of cus ur stroke matters a lot also.

sounds like hallow? have u changed the tip? might help

hhhhhm, ur fury shld be maple shaft mah. anyway, smooth or not is c how u take care mah

stick with ur cue lah, master it, change only when u find the weight not rite etc...

i suggest u dnt do tht cause the process will require to put the cue into a steam box & will weaken the cue.

Hi, my good friend and cigar kaki is an importer of pool cues.

He has a corner here and there including the pool joint at middle road.

If keen to buy cues etc..., drop me sms with your number and i'll ask him to call you.

cheers
