Okay guys here's the outcome of my test,getting the engine tuned w/o silencer but installing back the original silencer.

 

Peformance wise,acceleration is faster,top end is better,how this is acheived is due to the restriction of airflow which results in more "rich" setting(by reading the sparkplug).It works like this,lets say the current air/fuel ratio is 14.7:1(pounds),but adding the restrictor,it becomes something like 10:1,you get more power due to the rich or too rich setting.

 

When running abit rich is ok but too rich will cause emission problems(more unburnt fuel due to incomplete combustion) and also excessive carbon to be formed in the exhaust system,like exhaust ports,manifold,catalyser and etc...

 

So the choice is yours,i'm tuning my bike w/o silencer and sticking to w/o silencer.Love the sound.......

Hello my brudders. I got a sad news to break to all of u.... I've sold off my bike!!!!!!!

 

Yeah I've stripped her off her accessories last Friday. My heart really screamed out loud not to do that but I have to lah no choice. Latest edition to my family is coming in October. Wanna have the new ride ready before baby's arrival. But I do hope I can still join u all for the meeting. But I be rideless lah haha..

Thanks bro, I quite agree with u. I'm sure your day will come... Always wanted a baby girl but scan has shown that I'm getting another boy.... But nvm lah.... God blesses me with a Spec 3 when all I wanted is a CBR 600. What can I do? Just be happy lah....

 

Though I be driving soon, I know that its not the same as riding. Riding with complete agility and freedom on the road nothing beats that! I'd been riding eversince I got my license and frankly its kinda hard to be without a bike. My movement is restricted, I had to get up earlier today, took the MRT to work accompanied by some others sleepy commuter u name it.

 

But for the sake of family I must put up with all these lah...

checked UM they said my LV supposedly come on 15th..but u noe la...then say that day but come i think 1 month later..lol

Hahah so far, only left side shrouds and tank bra & mirrors. Box & rack still available. And no im not fed up bcos of the gathering lah. Its bcos of COE drop and my baby...
