I just got stop by an LTA officer riding the lta bike,

He ask me about my pipe got cert, i replied yes n showed him. But i told him i change the pipe saturday night. I buy it by forum n was stated street legal. So i haven get the chance to change its name n go for inspection. So he gave me a paper stating for me to go inspection, n i ask him weather should i go change the name first? He said no. So should i or not? Im asking the forumers opinion. Im scared kena summon 500 or more..

Bro by right u have to change name first then go inspection. If u nvr change then u go vicom aso no point coz the cert is still under the previous owner. Vicom need the change of ownership paper. Illegally ppl use the pipe and do change name then followed by inspection. Do u wana use stock pipe and do change of ownership then change the aftermarket pipe for inspection? Troublesome right? But if u fit the pipe without vicom cert considered illegal. Hope it helps in my point of view

Must transfer first leh, to your ownership cos the your bike number and engine number must be endorse first otherwise 2 TP catch you sure say you illegal.

 

Must transfer first cos the engine number is different also. You should have done first before riding.

Lucky u got away wont be the next time if you kena again

FYI guys, bikewerks is no longer located at Shun Li Industrial. They have shifted to Payar-Ubi, where exactly iam nt sure, so those who have Ah Beng's number might wanna confirm the location and post it here.

its not at paya ubi, its at 10 kaki bukit rd 2, near to motorworld, if from eunos u turn in to kaki bukit, turn to the right is heading to motorworld,

to get to bikeworks the same junct u turn left to kaki bukit rd 2 and find no 10, entry via gantry but exit free...
