Was using castrol R4, changed to Mobil 1 and now Maxima extra.

 

Still find Mobil 1 best leh...

Purpose of the engine oil is to lubricate,cool and clean parts in the engine. Over time the engine oil becomes dirty due to the blowby gases(unburn petrol n bla bla bla) from the combustion chamber,metal shavings and etc. These brings down the qualities of oil,making harder for it to its job.

 

When the oil losses its qualities you get higher than normal running temperature,parts in the engine get coated with carbon(sludge n etc) and more wear. :)

Motul 300V best..

 

Motul 7100 is my best EO...:thumb:

It keeps my XJR400R cooler & smoother....& my pockets is without holes too....Only S$24 x2 bottles for my Yammie....Sweeeeet honeys!:thumb:

 

I dislike sikolene racing@S$15.....it not suited to my preferences....:cry: no offence intended...:dot:

Have anybody try using the $6 engine oil from carrefour??

Performance reasonable??

Now super poor so have to use very cheap oil :cry:

b sure that the oil is for bikes. if oil not suitable, but buy bcos cheap, engine next time got prob, dun ask how come like that.

guyz...if most of u guys says maxima is gd, why most motogp using motul..no sign of maxima at all.. correct me if i'm wrong xafiq.. haha

Semi syn...How many depend on your pocket...I alwasy change them at 2000km. But my mileage for a year about 10000km...My sonic 1000km per oil change......hee hee nothing beats new oil in your bike....I just liked that feeling..

Yes have been using for years when initially it was $3.20....Now 100% increased.....But is still a very good oil consider the price...
