different gears also and at different speed but not a regular problem...its kind of like a hiccup....probably the shop just don't know much about the bike, when i ask how come got the problem....

have u ever encountered when there is water in your tank? It suddenly loses power and then surge forward again...that kind of feeling.... maybe i should go to boon siew to get it fully checked....

what's your recommendation..?:p

i never encounter such a problem before, think its better u give a check thru. if u want to go boon siew, call up n make appt 1st, n prepare to pay abit more.

Maybe its ur spark plug? it actually happen to my previous bike.. de plug dead.. cannot fire spark, den when u wack a bit more, the plug come back to life and fire spark again.. tat causes the bike to lose power den pick up again..

hey guys, anyone how to remove the end can of our exhaust? or only de full system?

to remove i guess have to remove form under the belly...

i surveyed around and got some quotes on slip-on

moriwaki...$1.2k - $1.4k at i-M

yoshi....(no stock) at MW when i ask

remus...$1.6k at MW...

Leo Vince...$1.6 - 1.8k

prices are just quotes...maybe be higher or lower...

but the moriwaki is my choice not becoz of lower price but performance is well known on the vtr...(but must ask for financial approval...sigh)

insurance should b quiet high for you since your are still young, mebbe ard the range of 800 to 1000, unless you got a high NCD to offset. litre on stock tank as above reply, not good idea for any serious/massive jam as bike temperature tense to go up. otherwise ok. riding posture ok to mi.

18 liters on average ride i test till the last drop of petrol in my tank it can go till 280 den finish * ofcos i bring spare petrol la * , dun trust the reserve lights, my reserve light came on ard 180-220, when i pump full is always 13 liters + so thers still 3-4 liters reserve left tat's why i test till my tank empty. fuel consumption i think is better den my ex pgm iv

hello all SP1/2 forumers, am from KL. own a 2000 SP1 & glad to know there are still a number of u who ride the SPs. perhaps u guys can help out with spareparts right cos as u know we here do down to Spore for parts & accessories. Can I e-mail u guys maybe if I need to find anything for my SP1.

thanks a million & cheers...

you can email any of us....but do take note some spare-parts still require some lead-time to order, as no suppliers really keep stock of VTR parts... they have to order from overseas too sometimes...i might be wrong though...:-)
