Aiya, gentleman did not break my fairing la!! I want to buy a spare one so I can cut it up & street fight the SP or RC 51 , so I can keep the original front cowl , anyone know where to get the carbon fibre - I just want a higher handle so I do not break my back & neck riding , or maybe I need to adjust the triple back to it's original height as I notice it is now down by half inch - maybe previous owner want it for faster steering ???? Frank let's grow old togetjer ha !! see who sells their RC first will buy big dinnner for the other , I intend to keep this for a long time too !!! so M Max or Musli where to get the carbon fibre front cowl ??? Track is ok but wears out the bike real fast & paint chips cos always behind some bikes ( slow la ) ha!!!! as for the Super duke from Dirt wheel , been advertised for some time is it ?? wonder is anything wrong with it - but 18k is a lot of $$$ in this crisis, hope Monday 3million kena toto sure buy

this week,i realized that my clutch resovior was empty! visibly i can see a hole in the soft rubber covering. so went to get it checked at race werk at bukitmerah, the cluctch kit(piston , spring and sealant was in the packet) cost $65, and did break bleeding for the three calipers $15x3. did it for maintances/safety sake. haiz , 110 spent this month, thought of doing up on some accessories for the bike... got to postspone already..

 

i am looking for a normal alarm, usually the expensive ones are very sensitive right? any suggestion, or should i just get one from the MO forum?

My clutch reservoir also goes low, after 1 month. It leaked at the clutch reservoir o-ring seal just below the reservoir.

 

Actually, brakes bleeding is very simple if you've learnt it - can actually save some money there.

The SP1 originals if you're looking for it. Seems cheaper to cut your present worn-out fairing:) than buying a new original piece.

 

Dinner On! Still not old enough yet to not tahan the riding position. Since you're already having problems, I will surely win:lol:. My recent trip up to near Sepang was back-aching but, surprisingly, the trip back the next day was ok. So that means that I can take the SP1 up to distances like to KL or Kuantan in one go.

 

I can now try riding a longer distance, like there-and-back-within-a-day, for example. But I'll attempt an 8hr return-trip(GPesso/GPesso) on my SP1 to Rompin first. I'm sure I'll also be able to lose some weight - which I need to.

happen dat, when i wen there to fix my clip on & fast trottle..dat guy name william(i think)..can evenn fix it & damage my fast trottle, trottle cale & damage my faring..i told him to adjust my cable but he insist dat my clip is wrong size....i can he dat he is not mechanic & i strongly advised our member not to go there...not worth the money goin there...next day i sent to my trusty mechanic..simple adjustment of cable & it works fined...

happen dat, when i wen there to fix my clip on & fast trottle..dat guy name william(i think)..can evenn fix it & damage my fast trottle, trottle cale & damage my faring..i told him to adjust my cable but he insist dat my clip is wrong size....i can he dat he is not mechanic & i strongly advised our member not to go there...not worth the money goin there...next day i sent to my trusty mechanic..simple adjustment of cable & it works fined...

look at the killer looks of e bike, start the engine and hear the thunder... you cant be wrong its a vtr....... except whether its a sp1 or sp2....

 

btw happen to see a vtrsp1 at orchard yesterday (wed) around 6++.... blew my heart away... still gives me the vibes whenever i hear one....

well there ain't many Vtr Sp in Spore...before u buy pls check it or just buy & rebuild if u wanna to keep dat bike like us...it a V twin engine dat beat the ducati 916 & 996..

get a friend... last week i push my cbr with a pretty full tank at orchard... luckily was abt 8pm traffic not too bad... when the engine finally started.... i was damn damn shag and e front went zig zag... quickly clutch in and brake....

 

i'm quite short, so quite lucky i didnt drop the bike then... i was with my gf then, doubt she could help much...

when my batt went flat, i din try push starting at all. i open throttle much bigger ( but not full) and pushed the start button. it managed to start! but could only do it bout 1 hour after the bike stalled... dunnoe why.. after that i just zoomed to the near by bike shop to change battery.

u own a vtr rite?...so how much u spent on the servicing and is the bike really problematic bike?....some of my friends advised me to to buy the bike coz the spare parts are difficult to find here....

not easy liao...hav been checking ard 4 mass wring harness & Clutch Housing but none of the oem honda dealer hv...all they say was nv bring in b4...if order wring harness cos $200+ by sea $500 + by air, clutch housing by sea oso $200+ & air cos $500 too...

 

Max & frank hav u guys check out mo or ebay had better deal ?

Kianleong , push start downhill in neutral then when enough speed , knock into 3rd gear cos normal 4 cylinder bike less torguey , as for SP1 , anyone selling my Malaysian frind very keen to get one
