Tit GPR Bolt on, $740. After U got d exhast, u need to go to Seng Kwang to do bracket for it... Bracket cost abt $240. R U willing to spend tat kind of $$? Cos, d market value for this bike only worth $800-$1200 if motortiam take in our bike in gd condition. Unless U wan to keep d bike just like me.... At least, I will still continue to keep it for another 3 years to make it 5 years.

Hi banditos

Sorry to have been out so long. Been busy working. WHat else?

By the way, is anybody doing their servicing soon? I will do mine on Sat. Is anybody interested? Oh yes, where can I get those fork protectors? $? Any windscreens to recommend? I am planning to do a few things on my bandit too. Just give me more suggestions. Cheers. Once my su-chan is ready, let me organise a gathering for the banditos once again. This time, give face, ok!!!

for those interested in changing suspension, this might fit:

GSX600 (Katana) shock for sale on Ebay

I did e-mail the seller for shipping quote and more details. The whole thing works out to US$105, nearly SG$180. I'm not really interested at this price, since I'm not planning to keep my Bandit for very long. If anyone wants I'll forward the email to him/her and you can bid for it or something. (also, I asked at this bike shop at braddell there which did suspension stuff about bandit rear shock, they told me 200+ for rebuild and 500+ for new, but 400+ actually can get stock new right? just for reference la)

BTW I changed my rear preload from 4 to 7, and it's much better! But still dragged mainstand a little (w/o pillion), that's why still looking for a change of shock. Or maybe bike, heh?

Hey guys. last nite i went 2nd link "play play". This is the 1st time i ever i touched this kind of speeds.

I touched 180 with RPM 11 aft tht no power to go more already, rear spocket size i using 45, stock i think suppose to be 44 for bandit V. where as i clearly remember gear 1-3 rpm can go until 14-15 but at 15 got this choking feeling like as if something is preventing it from going more, :btw: red zone starts at 13.

so is this like how its suppose to be for our bandits? our mine not enough power at high speed?

Stability wise i think ok la no winds or watso ever but i need to get use to going through minor bends at tht speed n do something if possible for headlight so can see futhur. For going at below 150 my headlight does the job at 180 cannot see where i m going already.

So anyone got any comments or suggestion for improvements?

Hmm.... my first gear can only go till 10rpm and the bike lose power.... but 2nd gear onwards.... it's good. Top speed tried on last malaysia trip is about 195km but i dun really trust my speedo meter haha..... I feel that it is slower than that....

Ususally my rpm go until 13~14 bike lose power never hit 15 leh.....

I'm riding a banit VV400

You can ask him how he did it.

I bought mine in the net and they are made of stainless steel.

Abit on the expensive side but they looked so good.

That depends on how long is the COE and how long do you intend to keep the bike. If you intend to max out the COE and bike's life, why not. If S$800 can cure the bike and you like this bandit, do it. Wanna meet me to do your bike this sat? I will go to Guan Hoe this sat morning around 8am. Let me know.

Oh yes, if you are going to upgrade soon to a bigger bike, then of course, forget it.

Just think more about it. May the force be with you, bandito.
