Wow you are fierce rider, using bandit 4 to chase R6. I think your engine also cannot tahan your agressive riding. :help:

How abt joining me and ride G4, I tested my G4 last week on 2nd link, good pick, engine is smooth after 8k rpm up and fun starts at 10rpm. The ex G4 rider told me G4 pick up and top can win RVF, maybe due to rider skill.

I chicken out at 180km/h, still more to go, the road was quite uneven and my shock CMI already. Hopefully I can get my rear shock from ebay soon.

G4's top end wins all the 400cc bikes, that's what I know. Wah Kata & S750WP, both of you are so fierce riders. I think I am a ah pek rider. I try once with some SBFs at around 160km/h. I already chicken out after that. But the bandit has still enough power to go. Hopefully kata's bike is alright. This thread has already lost jkaiser's bike, hope this will not lead to kata's bike as well.

May the force be with your bikes!!!

U must get use to ure bike b4 u wrack such a high speed. To me 185km/h is nothing..... Nw, I really regretted selling my Haya which can bring me up to 330km/h so far.

Nw, I have no bike to ride liao. Would rather take Taxi but this can't take long. 2morrow, I saw take mRT n Bus. :cheeky:

I agree with that, of course. Just that I have not rode for about 5 years, i think. Therefore I am not used to high speeds. Used to ride my G4 too at a max of 240km/h against CBRs. Scary but exciting. Maybe I will slowly warm up my Su-chan for such high rev activities.

So how is your bandit, Kata? Hopefully everything is a ok.

Hi Banditos

I have gotten my Su-chan back from Guan Hoe. It's now fiercer than ever. But it blew a hole in my pocket for that. I have not really took it out for a proper ride to see if all the servicing have been done right. It's definately more responsive now. But there seems to a rattling sound coming from the speedo and my IU rack. I will probably try to meddle something on it. I am now back in my muddle worklife writing this out.

As for the outing, Like I promised:

DATE: 17/12/05

TIME: 0800hrs

PLACE TO MEET Up: Undecided

Destination: Gadek Hotspring, Ayer Keroh near Melaka

I'm looking for the front rims with complete brake disc, I have bought the brake disc and wanted to change but the bolts all rounded by previous owner. So either have to replace the whole rim with new brake disc or send to machine shop to drill off all the bolts and tap new threads.

Also looking for the both fork for standby, because the chrome parts on my G4 is going soon, right now its still serviceable. I just rebuilt my forks with 10w oil, the front doesn't dive all the way compare to before and its more stable.

The bolts on the disc are quite flat, and they have seized and may break, only option is to to drill them off. I will drop by Planet to see what the mech have to say.

Normally for rounded bolt I saw a straight line across and use a flat blade screw driver to remove, if not a vice grip will do. I have loosen many of the rounded bolt on my G4 fairing this way.
